It was a cracking day on Sunday every player gave 110%  they certainly wanted the victory and didn't let there heads go down even when down two goals . Its a pity more fans don't turn up to see the girls in action , living in Uist we dont get to as many games as we would like.. Grandsons were mascots and also did ball boy duties  where they  did their best to get quick balls to players whilst we were two goals down . Reece even got involved at the disputed 3rd goal telling the referee it never crossed the line whilst he was in conference with the linesman . A cracking day out made even better by spending halftime chatting with Kris Doolan who was at game supporting the girls along with his daughter  . Fingers crossed they can get a result against Dundee United next week

In my opinion Reese was correct - the ball didn't cross the line.

When you look at the highlights you will see that our keeper catches the ball cleanly but steps back over the goal line as she does so. She, however keeps her arms stretched towards the field of play and if you use the near post which is behind the ball as a point of reference you will see that most of the ball is level with the post and therefore not over the line.

The Assastant Ref wasn't Jordan (something).  The guy who was responsible for ruling out Doolan"s ghost goal against Morton and whom I believe awarded a throw-in against the Jags following an opponent's cross which overshot everybody and went out of play on the opposite wing!!.

Just watched highlights of the Dundee utd game. We played some nice football at times. IF we had shown a bit more composure in front of goal WE would have won by 3 or 4 goals.

I thought the ref was very lenient toward the Utd players. Wrestling a player to the ground should surely be a red card and also the over the ball tackle should also have been a red card.

The Utd players played the game as if there was some history between the clubs and wanted to settle old scores.

Agree. One of the incidents would not have been out of place in the wrestling ring.

I watched the highlights package on BBC and during the Aberdeen/Motherwell game the commentator said a couple of times if Motherwell bettered the Thistle result, they would be in the top 6. They really should check out their facts.

So close to a point today against Celtic. Losing 1-2 to a goal in the 94th minute.

Fantastic effort by the whole team today (sorry yesterday now).  Celtic scored fairly early and ran into the net to collect the ball as a sign that they expected to run up a massive improvement to their goals for column.

However, Thistle buckled down and really rattled their opponents, all the more impressive as part-timers taking on full-timers. The difference in height accounted for both the headed goals lost. Goalkeeper made some great saves and there were some superb last ditch blocks and tackles.

Thistle certainly scored the goal of the game, if not the season. The BBC website dismissed it as "a simple nod". Please try and watch it and you will see a quickfire interchange of passes culminating in a subtle dink down the right wing, a pinpoint cross and a powerful and well-directed header (think Aaron Taylor Sinclair scoring at Rugby Park in 2014).

This team has come a remarkably long way in a short time and huge credit is due to all concerned.
