Auld Jag
Sad to hear the news of the death of Nazareth front man Dan McCafferty. In my younger days my mates and i would go along to concerts at the Apollo Glasgow for a night out, even if we weren't the biggest fans concert tickets were cheap enough that you could get a good night out for a reasonable cost. One of the first we did this for was to see Nazareth, from that first concert i become a big fan and bought a number of their records and tapes and also went to a number of their concerts. This flight tonight and love hurts among the many great songs that they released. RIP Dan .

sabbath
Its only in times like this and you look back and realise just how good Nazareth were and Dan as the frontman was. The voice and his smile will be sadly missed. Love and respect Rest in peace.
Camallain
Nazareth were the first band I ever saw live back in 1979 at the Glasgow Apollo. What a concert that was! Dan for me had one the best rock voices ever and will be sadly missed. This video is from 2010 at the O2 ABC in Glasgow.
