Morton v Thistle

NAs far as I’m concerned, that’s just about the strongest tam we could field. You very rarely get an easy game at Cappielow and doubt today will be any different. Nonetheless, if we play like we have been playing of late I can see no reason that we can’t manage all three points today.  However, the last fifty or so years of my life are littered enough egg  egg on my chin to make a huge omelette: so I’d take a draw, but I desperately am hoping for a win. C’mon a Jags!

Banzo the best performer in the first half. Tiff threatening but nothing quite coming off yet. A few decent moves but mostly rather disjointed and have not looked like scoring.

Morton started better but since then fairly even. Mitchell made one good save from a free kick.

Not a game that will live long in the memory.

Wasn't at game but listened on the radio. Sounded as if the pitch and ref was terrible. I think Holt and Brownlie should get mention for coming on and helping to keep a clean sheet. Our defensive record so far since Doolan took over is what stands out for me. Played 5, 4 clean sheets and 1 goal conceded. Agree with @Fawlty Towers if you can't win, don't lose. Another big game next week, let's hope we get a big crowd.

I'll take that

bring on Dungdee  :fan:

A very good set of results. Although we’ve lost ground to QP this weekend it’s games against the likes of Hamilton and Cove that have proved costly. Big games coming up against Dundee and ICT and hopefully we don’t lose further ground to QP although finishing second would be a very impressive start to Doolan’s managerial career.

Obviously I’d like to go up as champions, but 2nd and going into the playoffs as hard to beat and with some momentum wouldn’t be a bad second prize
