5th vs 6th but a win would see is move up a place. (A very big win could see is into third).

I think our last meeting was our last defeat so hopefully we can return the favour to Hamilton on Saturday.

Could this be the game where things click into place? Here's hoping it does.

Jags 2 Accies 0.

I feel the positives I can take out of what I considered a good performance v Raith hinge on a us having a well deserved three points against Accies. Anything but that and my glass will turn from half full to half empty. Need to get that hard working midfield more productive. May have to drop one of the hard workers, Crawford or Turner, just to get the balance right.

1st game of the season for me.

Bringing a couple of mates. Can you still get a ticket from the annex behind the JH Stand?

Thinking of buying from there and going for a pint at the ground before kick-off.

Can't wait to walk towards Firhill again. It's been too long.

Provision will be made at the Jackie Husband ticket office for home supporters without bank cards or online access to use cash to purchase tickets for this game starting from 1:30pm on matchday

Got me thinking when I said I was bringing two mates to the game on Saturday.

One is an Aberdeen fan and the other a Motherwell fan. Both have been to Firhill more than 5 times.

I wonder how many different teams are represented at an average Thistle game other than the two playing.

I then thought about a team like Barcelona and wondered the same.

Of course, no-one will know the exact answer to any of those questions but I wish there was a way of knowing.

I think I know what you mean by this. A  good victory tomorrow will possibly make the point v Raith Rovers last week look a bit better, and confirm we are turning the corner.

Doolan isn't one to make a lot of changes, but I suspect he will bring Fitzpatrick back in, possibly for Turner.

3-0 home win. Graham and Tranche (2).

If Dools sticks by his normal selections it will be Fitzpatrick for Crawford

I think Crawford would be the fans choice to miss out but I get the feeling Dools has not been too happy with Turner's recent form.  He's taken him off every game of late, with him making way before Crawford in the last two.

Just a hunch and I'll probably be wrong! However, 99% sure it will be one of them that makes way for Fitzpatrick.

It was harsh on Turner at Dunfermline as he’s not a winger and played out of position and we missed his vision and passing from midfield. Our flanks work better with a settled pairing like Lawless and McMillan and we need the same from Fitzpatrick and Milne.

The defence feels solid and settled so hopefully the midfield can be confident and drive chances the way did in the first last week.  Quick passing and good movement.
