laukat
To my mind Adeloye is a good signing for Morton were he will be regularly played but probably not a great signing for us were he will be at best a sub and occasional starter. If we're getting another striker in to the end of the season then I firmly expect it to be a cheap loan from the premier league. However I would hope if Turay is back with us that he's on the bench today and given minutes if Ablade tires. Not too sure if a cheap loan from the premier to be 3rd choice striker is better than giving a few minutes to one of younger players and seeing what they can make of the opportunity. lady-isobel-barnett
A lot depends on Adeloye's state of fitness. At face value a good signing for Morton but he may not be up to speed for a time.

But under the current manager I’m not sure, the likes of Fitzpatrick and Turner have gone backwards this season. In fact of all the players still with us from last season I can’t think of anyone who has improved (Bannigan has been good over the last few months and Milne maintained his previous standard). Megwa hasn’t hit the heights he did at Airdrie. I’ve no idea if Lyon will progress elsewhere but I think he has potential. I guess we’ll see in due course. Perhaps a weakness was his lack of physicality but that could be overcome given his age.

partickthedog
Reid looked quite reasonable in his first 15 minutes. Bright, lively, making runs and expecting forward passes. Soon realised that these were not coming and sank back into the same lethargy as everyone else. I gave Ablade and Chalmers pass marks in the first half, but they regressed in the second half. Stanway tried hard when he eventually come on. That was about it. We did win a corner.

Given that coaching involves developing and improving players, and as I’ve stated none of our squad has improved this season IMO, and that we have a squad which is underperforming, then yes I think coaching is part of the problem.
