Phew!  Thank goodness the new sporting director's name wasn't announced yesterday.  It would have caused all sorts of misunderstandings and confusion.

Maybe it was announced yesterday, but the prank was that they didn’t tell anyone 😀

Not sure about that.  His tenure at Dunfermline co-incides with that announced for Graham (end of season), Maybe the delay in announcing the sporting director is linked to negotations between all the parties involved.  I love conspiracy theories.

And with Ferguson only manager at the other arse cheek until end of season, we could have him as manager with Lennon as SD. How’s that for a conspiracy ?

The endless inferno of Hades couldn't make me suffer more than that combination.

I'd rather groundshare at Cappielow.

Might have a fight with Clyde for that 'honour'. Sounds like they might be on the hunt for a new home. They could move to lesser Hampden an that would help QP plug the gap when Haughy walks away.

Clyde seemed to have invested a fair amount of energy and hope into their aspirations for Crownpoint which were ultimately dashed by Glasgow City Councillors.
Lesser Hampden might be an option but there might be other issues there as regards QP and the SFA.
Personally I think Clyde should move into the remains of Cathkin Park (suitably upgraded of course) but I suspect that is a forlorn hope.

Anyway back to our new manager thread……..

Is Cathkin owned by the council? If so I can't see them spending anything to bring it up to the licence requirements and I doubt Clyde could find the money. Lesser Hampden or back to Broadwood seem the only potentially viable options.

Sorry....back to the new manager thread 🙂

Personally would still think Rhys McCabe is the best option, Airdrie have been vastly improved of late since their injured players have come back.

Would be my number one choice as well.

A few hamburger vans, portaloos, and they could rename it Caravan Park.

Would a return to (what remains of) Shawfield be unthinkable?
