GoonerJag
Personally speaking I am delighted that Callison has left. He was a total waste of space. For him to shit on the very body that got him a seat on the board speaks volumes about his character.
Lambies Lost Doo
Silly response from the board and Mr Callison. Take a breath. Settle. Work together and carry on.
Lenziejag
Considering it was an email from TJF to its members, the board of PTFC have made an overreaction as has Stuart Callison.
erty13
You elect a Jags Foundation board to engage with the club board. I would have expected better from the Jags foundation. Have these discussions with the board in private not through social media.
jagfox
The board are sticking their heads in the sand. Seems to be anything between a disaster and a shambles is building.
ChiThistle
TJF has every right/obligation to lay out the case to its members. I am not familiar with any “social media” airing of grievances. Given the timing of the follow-up meeting, I would have either withheld the communication to after the meeting or made the communication less “blame-y”. Something to the effect of, “we have heard your complaints about X, Y, Z and will be addressing with the board at a scheduled meeting…”

Happy to be corrected, but I am not aware of TJF conducting its discussions with the Board through social media. As a member of TJF I received yesterday an email indicating various matters which TJF intended to raise at a meeting with the Board this week. I am not a social media animal, but I am not aware of TJF posting about this on social media. No doubt individuals, some perhaps TJF members and some perhaps not, have chosen to air their opinions on these matters by social media, but that is different from TJF itself doing so. Big Col
Would it not have been better for TJF to simply have said they were meeting the Board to discuss areas of concern and issues raised by their members, rather than a detailed list, which was obviously going to get leaked and shared. 2 1

That is how a professional organisation would have done it, rather than launching a few very public grenades. I don't see any benefit from their approach other that generating more unrest at the club during a crucial time in the preseason business.

They chose to make this very public, which resulted in the discussions on social media. The TJF board were elected to act on our behalf, there is no need to send this before the meeting with the club board. It was poor judgement.

Dick Dastardly
I am generally supportive of TJF and I do think they have the best interest of Partick Thistle at heart, however I think this could have been handled better and they must have known that the email sent would be inflammatory. I hope that lessons have been learned.

The Legend Blows
Read the joint statement and as much as I'd love 'join the red and yellow army for 2025-26' I am seeing absolutely nothing from the club to tempt me. Tinpot organisation, infighting, unprofessionalism and making us a laughing stock as usual. I cannot be the only one that needs to see something in return before blindly stumping up season ticket cash. laukat
My fear in appointing a Sporting Director is we would become a but like Falkirk and their Gary Holt experiment. However appears we are also going for the Sevco approach and issuing statements like confetti. Today's statement Joint Statement from Club Board and TJF | Partick Thistle FC By now we should be withholding the the red, yellow and black pound but appears like we are instead spending it on a new finance director
Big Col
It’s quite breathtaking really. Why doesn’t the club have a current financial director? Who’s been looking after the money? Is it the accountant who said he couldn’t identify a single pound that could be cut from club expenditure?
elevenone
Applications here for new financial director role. Could maybe have added onto the description a versatile individual who can not only look after the purse strings but can provide cover as goalkeeper, full back and striker when needed. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/applications-for-financial-director-welcome/
