I'd be happy to take one back, not the other though. Snedds could be good alongside Clarke next season, particularly for any international break

Maybe that's why BG was on Sportscene with Stephen Thompson for the Thistle / St Mirren highlights, looking for a new career. Not the most successful I would guess. Hard to say which one looked the least relaxed.

Good with pens, wasn't it him in goal at Ibrox and saved a pen?

I think at 28 he will be looking to be playing each week and we can't guarantee that. I would be quite happy if we used the one year extension available for Budinauckas. Liked him in the few games I saw him play but unlucky with injuries. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/scott-martin-departs-to-join-queens-park/ With absolutely no proof I am now assuming Osian Smyth is signing for us with Martin leaving. There are vacancies at Airdrie, Stenny & QoS plus the manager of Hearts Women team is stepping down at the end of the season so it will be interesting to see if he puts himself forward for any of those. If he still wants to play he would need to drop down from the Premiership.

My thinking as well. Btw am I correct in saying Martin was team captain around the time he joined us? Whatever, given the fella's leadership and aggressive qualities plus the position he plays in, I doubt the decision to let him go would've been easy. Not sure he was ever Jags captain. I think there was a player there until his injury and I hope he can find that again (when not playing against us)

Lambies Lost Doo
I love Brian Graham. Scored loads of goals. Gave his all on the pitch. Def a Thistle legend.

He had a big ego and fell over too much in the opposing penalty area. Some might say he undermined Dools too. We got the better option with Wilson as manager. I can never understand the dislike of Graham… Scored 99 or 100 goals and gave his all in every match, his work rate was phenomenal as was his high demands of those around him to do the same. Did a great job with the women’s team too. I’d be happy with players who have egos if they score 99 goals. As for undermining Doolan, I think Graham didn’t believe in his manager towards the end and quite frankly - and very honestly- said publicly want Doolan should have said before Graham said it. Dools will always be remembered for his goalscoring, his great service and his loyalty to the club. that will never be diminished. He’s also as we all know a great bloke. I’m not comparing the two of them, but Grahams contribution shouldn’t be diminished either. Yes, Graham walked away from taking on the managers role (for whatever reason), but his contribution shouldn’t be diminished either. Anyway, I accept there’s a difference of opinion amongst the support on this, but we are all united as Jags fans for one last tilt at promotion under the impressive Mark Wilson. Hopefully an outstanding end to what has been an enjoyable season.

I don't believe that good players just become bad for no reason. And I don't think his decline should be considered terminal. Although there's a very good chance he'll leave this summer, so not likely to find out either way.
