I don't believe that good players just become bad for no reason. And I don't think his decline should be considered terminal. Although there's a very good chance he'll leave this summer, so not likely to find out either way. His delivery from set-pieces - completely gone. lady-isobel-barnett
I think there's a lot of common sense re Graham being the Stenny manager. If it went pear shape he'd still be quoted elsewhere on the basis of low budget at Ochilview. A reasonable return and he'd be a sought after manager. Difficult to be an abject failure at a club with limited ambition.

We can have a serious or humorous debate as to whether 99 or 100 is the correct number of goals for Brian Graham, but one number he does not deserve is consignation to Room 101. jagfox
Thiago Silva has been doing his UEFA Coaching licence in Scotland recently. A current Jag and an old favourite have been doing their's too. Future management or coaching duo? Thiago would probably be out of our budget...
Weebaw1
We’ve progressed massively since Graham dumped us. Lets keep it that way.
JAG1970
Presumably Mackay, GMS and Turner will be released. I’ve not followed Mackenzie’s progress at QOS so possibly him too. I wonder if Budd fancies regular game time elsewhere. Martin staying at QP. With Fitzy, Chalmers and Stanway all likely to exit it does create quite a bit of space for additions. Those three leave big boots to fill though. I really like Ingram but with McPherson and Logan we’re well covered unless there’s flexibility in different positions amongst the three of them. I’d also take Smyth and I’d take Taylor on loan and see how it goes. Whether they all want to be here remains to be seen. Hopefully we have finally managed to break even this season and Wilson has a larger budget especially if TJF funding doesn’t need to go on continuously bailing out the club just to keep our heads above water. If we could see more TJF money going to the team budget with tangible results it may encourage larger contributions. Big season for Diack who needs to start laying a claim for regular game time, and we can’t expect Samuel and Watt to be playing 90 minutes over 40 plus games. Hopefully some of the younger lads start making regular appearances too.

I would be surprised if the budget is any bigger this season.

He'll also be roughly aware of the budget, if not in actual terms then at least a percentage comparison to this season. Considering how well he's done after been thrown in at the deep end last summer, I feel there's grounds for hope that we can still improve, even on a reduced budget. Of course year to year budgets only reflect what we can offer. It's the comparison of our budget against our rival clubs budgets that really matters. All eyes on Dunfermline methinks. ThickAsThieves
Who are the rumoured signings then? I’ve seen us linked with Ben Dempsey from Ayr, Jay Henderson from Ross County, and Chris Mochrie from Airdrieonians. Any other rumours out there? Pretty sure Wilson said on the Jagzone post match interview that planning had started in November and I think he had 2 well down the process.
partickthedog
As one chapter closes and a new one opens, I have taken the courage to open a thread for 2026-2027 Squad, so perhaps we could all post on there from now on!?

Maybe everybody else was already in the know, but I just discovered during the 2nd leg (and because it was mentioned by the StM commentators) that Kyle was the son of ex-Jag Tommy.
