The Thistle defending was heroic throughout, and the keeper made some incredible saves, including one from a penalty, not to mention a few shots heading into the high part of the goal where even to reach up and get a finger tip to divert on to the bar must have been a huge challenge. Hopefully the same spirit and endeavour can yield the necessary points when we take on the teams near us in the league over the next few weeks. Fawlty Towers
A big game today at home to Montrose with a 1pm kick off. This will be our first home game against one of the bottom 5 sides (we have played Hamilton, Motherwell and Aberdeen away so far) so a win would be most welcome. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-fixture/partick-thistle-wfc-v-montrose-wfc-19th-october-2025/
Albert's Ghost
Not looking great at HT - 1-0 down and threatening little.

Fawlty Towers
A disappointing 2-0 defeat today. Fine margins as we hit the crossbar at 1-0 then soon after it was 2-0. We do look short of quality up front though.

Montrose seem to have really improved and have joined that "2nd rank" of teams that used to be Motherwell, Aberdeen and us. Hopefully we are still part of that 2nd rank. The team finishing 9th has a play off final against the team who comes out on top of the play offs between the 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed teams in the second tier.
Fawlty Towers
Just to advise that there is no game tomorrow as it is an international break. Back to action on the 2nd of November away to Hibs.
Fawlty Towers
It is the start of the 2nd round of fixtures before the split so we need a good run to get in the top 6 by then but won't be easy today away to Hibs (kick off 1pm). https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-fixture/hibernian-wfc-v-partick-thistle-wfc-2nd-november-2025/ Edited November 2 by Fawlty Towers

Fawlty Towers
A 3-0 loss today but strange as it sounds we played better than previous weeks. Was tough as we only had 4 subs and the ref was a total homer. Next week is the Sky Sports Cup QF then back to the league with a "must win" home game against Aberdeen. Fawlty Towers
A good draw for the Scottish Cup 3rd round - Livingston (away). We played them recently at home in the Sky Sports Cup and won 7-0 so hopefully we can progress a bit further in this competition. Just to confirm as well that the Sky Sports Cup game against Rangers next weekend is at Broadwood on the Sunday with a 4pm kick off.

Fawlty Towers
A 3-0 defeat today so no repeat of our cup final from a few seasons ago. Back to league action next week with a big home game against Aberdeen.

Fawlty Towers
First game for the new manager today at home to Aberdeen with a 1pm kick off. We drew with them up there (a very late equaliser for them) so really need to win this one if we are to have any hopes of a top six finish. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-fixture/partick-thistle-wfc-v-aberdeen-wfc-16th-november-2025/
