I liked some of Thistle's through balls to the strikers, though they were just slightly over-hit. But if the second half was in the same mould as the first, then the Jags did well to come through it without conceding a goal. Good result. Jaggernaut Posted December 22, 2025 Report Share Posted December 22, 2025 Watched game until 2 am from my hospital bed, when I should've been asleep to increase the chances of passing all the tests I needed to get discharged (I got discharged anyway, despite looking like crap and still half asleep). It was a really entertaining game. Motherwell looked slick and fast, and I was disappointed but not surprised when they eventually took the lead. Despite the referee's attempt to win the game for them by awarding them a never-a-penalty penalty (which they missed!), ultimately 'Well could not hold out against the grit and determination of the keep-going-right-to-the-end Thistle girls. And no shortage of good passing and moving forward at pace too. What a goal to finish it, in the 92nd minute! Compared to the men's limp display the day before, this was a very entertaining game.
