thornwoodjag
Same team as last week, apart from Stanway. 3 points and up the road Edited November 6 by thornwoodjag

We still have plenty of wide and forward options off the bench with Lawless, McCardle & Samuel. We might be a little stretched if one of our defenders or midfielders is injured or has to come off for any reason. Might be a matter of bringing on Logan, and then McPherson and McBeth can flex depending on which position requires to be covered.

I wonder if we might start with Lawless tonight as he is one of the few players we have who has said he likes playing on the artifical surfaces. Would take a one goal victory right now (hopefully more) and then hope St Johnstone drop points tomorrow. lady-isobel-barnett
I imagine Crawford will need game time as a sub before getting a start. His game (this season) has been going hell for leather . A nearly fit Crawford would possibly be little help to the midfield. I though Airdrie moved the ball about quite well when we played them earlier. If their goalie and a couple of others hadn't been so ridiculously involved in time wasting they may have got a result.
Dick Dastardly
10 goal win and we go top of the league.
Auld Jag
We can't take anything for granted. Airdrie beat 3rd placed Arbroath 1-0 in their last home game. The first goal is always important in games and if we get it i hope we push for a second. Unlike Airdrie in our first game at Firhill who after they went 1 up early in the game were happy to time waste and sit back, although we weren't great we scored 2 late goals for a deserved and important 3 points. Will be another difficult game tonight imo. Edited November 7 by Auld Jag

John, Paul, George, Ringo and a wee Volkswagen. True. Once again I find myself jaiket zipped up in the Airdrie Stadium bar. Sole Jags fan amongst some strange home fans. Big Wull
Personally, I think lawless should replace fitzpatrick for the 2nd half. Lets'osa and Smyth need a rocket up their backside. There back line is honking, we could easily score 3 or 4 in 2nd half. Mon the Jags.
