It’s not so much a jinx as, in many cases, a reversion to baseline. Often the award is a recognition of performance above what was expected. Therefore in many cases that team will then revert to baseline (i.e., performance at the expected level). This is then interpreted by fans as the curse of the motm award.

Im hoping Ayr will stream it. Their website says you can purchase an hour before the game.

Half-time. Not a great game. Each keeper has made one important save. Ayr ahead on corners, but lots of loose balls, wayward passes.

Keep Ayr at a long arms length, not a bad thing.  They at home to St Johnstone next Friday. If we don’t lose to Arbroath I think that will be ok.

Josh Clarke earns us a point - two great saves and probably forced an error out of a 1v1.

McBeth and Fitzy other standouts for me.  Was surprised Fitzy was the one subbed for Lawless because Chalmers didn’t look like he had things going today.
