Sooooooooooo, what do we do with this one ? Arbroath in the winter on a well used pitch isn’t a time for fancy football n wingers. Won’t b surprised if we change it up for this one. Go two up top with McBeth coming in somewhere, either a back 3 or in middle of park with Smyth. Feel it’s a game for the ‘big boys’ and battler’s in the team.

Or it could be 4-3-3 with usual faces 😂

Either way, won’t b upset with a point.

Worst case scenario is that tomorrow night we will be 3 points adrift of St Johnstone.

If we play well in what will be farcical conditions then we might manage a point. A win of any description would be great but the conditions will give Arbroath a huge advantage.

Regardless of what we achieve tomorrow  I think I'm reaching the viewpoint  that St Johnstone are by far the best team in the league.

The only chance the rest of us have of  winning the title would be Saints selling McPake to a top 6 premier league team, probably other than Rangers or Celtic.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow. C'mon Jags win this and help me out of it negativity.

Off topic but despite being utterly outplayed Ayr have just opened the scoring against St Johnstone- I very much doubt it will stay that way though.

Jings 2

Now a more realist draw I see

But not any more

Tactical masterclass by Valakari, changing things up at the half by bringing on an 11th player.

25mph winds and gusts over 40mph. This could get silly. Opertunity to play an extra defender and more central midfield when the wind is against us and attacker with wingers when behind us ?

Reminds of BBG’s debut game & Foxy’s atrocious kick outs

Any premier team could pick McPake up in January fairly cheaply.

He should get the Hell out of there.
