I’m embarrassed to say I thought it was a bit of a “meh” signing at the time 🤡 He's arguably our player of the season. No need to be embarrassed! To be fair on you, I do not think that any of us on this forum or in the general support were that excited by the signing of Alex Samuel. "Good character, works hard, willing runner, limited skillset, makes an impact off the bench, but does not score many goals, OK squad player", would be a reasonable summary of what was said at the time. While others have made valuable contributions, when it comes to being consistently outstanding, the only rival as regards player of the season (unless somebody else comes in with a late run of brilliant performances, which of course I would be delighted to see) has to be Ben Stanway. Third Lanark
I think some of the critiscism of Fitzpatrick is a little bit harsh, he was being deliberately targetted by the Morton players and was hacked down 3 or 4 times. This happens most games where the opposition clearly see him as a threat and target him. While the game itself is was not a cracker it was yet another reminder of this teams never say die attitude. Whether it be Alex's last minute brilliant goal or Ethans incredible block on the line, this squad does not give up. Onto friday and hopefully a full house on friday night to back the players and even be a nice wee payday for the club since we need the money as well. I think i heard that hospitality is already sold out as well 2

I reckon more towards the northern exit (westward) on Dumbarton Rd. Old picture (looking east) but somewhere along right hand side, I think.
