eljaggo
Just heard that these two gonzo organisations have (at last) just announced that henceforth clubs whose fans invade the pitch or cause significant disturbances outwith the ground will be penalised by deducting 10 points from their league points total. They are also reviewing yesterday's Celtic Hearts game with respect to the game remaining unfinished (no referees final whistle) before the pitch invasion by Celtic fans. Hopefully it applies retrospectively as regards the 10 point deduction, or at the very least the whole game has to be replayed!? Yes. I know it won't happen. scotty
Is this a rumour emanating from Ibrox?
Dick Dastardly
How does that work ? How do you know who’s fans are on the pitch, and if they are imposters trying to get a club a 10 point penalty.
Auld Jag
The ultras bring a great atmosphere to the game day experience. The authorities will be extremely reluctant/refuse to punish the bigot brothers but would not think twice about clamping down on teams like us. The message from us should be along the lines of 'bring the atmosphere and enjoy the game, but no pyros or pitch invasions allowed'.
sandy
I felt so sorry for Hearts yesterday. The behaviour of the Celtic fans at the ground and after at the Trongate was unacceptable

I know it is a minority, but that minority from both sides of the so called old firm is a complete curse on Scottish football. Media were saying the Hearts story was world wide, so the disgraceful scenes that followed will also be world wide news and with Scotland going to the world cup finals next month Scotland fans could be tarred with the same brush even tho anybody who knows anything about football realise that none of the hooligans would be anywhere near a Scotland game. Too late to impact their desired outcome from yesterday, but soon enough to punish any other team that 'enjoys' a pitch invasion, namely us. Jaggernaut
No real point in starting another thread for this, but I was impressed (though I can't put my finger on quite how or why) to see three ex-Thistle to see two important ex-Jags (Harry Milne, Alan Archibald) and another ex-player (who never really excelled: Spittal) playing important parts for the tarts. I strongly dislike the cousins of William, but I acknowledge their fantastic performance this season. I guess it just goes to show the influence of the player's attitude at the time, how good players can go even further with good coaching, and how some good coaches might not be cut out for full managerial roles. God, the thought of vermin swarms from other parts of Glasgow infesting Firhill again almost has me having second thoughts about wanting promotion..... VAR bias, damage to Firhill... and nothing, but nothing will change those things.
