Thought Ricco when he’s played looked much improved and would have liked him to seen him play with either Samuel or Watt behind him Ricco offered a physicality upfront which we don’t have . He scored goals for Kelty and also in the Championship for Airdrie so we know when fit he can play at a decent level. Does well, he will either end up signing for Ross County or come back to us and we will give him a chance. Doesn't do it at county he will end up dropping down the leagues. Ricco was frozen out of the first team at Firhill because BG was scoring (goals) so regularly. He's currently doing the same in Dingwall, so I wonder how they'll use Ricco there. We’re short up front especially if Watt or Samuel get injured. Even looking at Saturday’s game against QP , putting on someone like Diack with his physicality could have made a difference. I was expecting that Diack's (and to an extent Horn's) departure on loan was to free up space for a third striker coming in (probably on loan). Surely to goodness he must have contacts that could unearth us the next Hreinn 'Turbo' Hringsson, Jesus Tejero or Jukka Santala!!!! The more time that passes, the more I'm convinced Baraclough is the George Costanza of Partick Thistle. Pound for pound, the single worst signing Thistle have ever made.
