The team have got stronger week on week in my eyes and will fancy a shot of upsetting the odds come Sunday afternoon. Hibs also have a tough European tie tonight to contend with. partickthedog Posted August 14 Report Share Posted August 14 I think that Megwa (when at Airdrie) had a good game against Aidan in the play offs. However, that was over 2 seasons ago and no doubt much has changed since. Every confidence in all our wide players (including Aidan) to give Megwa and/or whoever are the Hibs fullbacks a challenging afternoon. We need to make them turn and pursue our quick passing, and we need to hit passes with greater weight to increase the tempo. We showed against Livingston that we can win good possession in midfield when we engage brains in top gear. We've sat back and kinda not displayed much confidence in our play. That wasn't the case with our three recent games v St Mirren when we competed admirably. All I ask is more of that, please. partickthedog Posted August 16 Report Share Posted August 16 Very poor start. Hibs were impressive and incisive, but we were making it far too easy for them. Thankfully Hibs have taken their foot off the gas and we have worked out our way back into the game, but still making too many casual mistakes. Goalkeeper has been our best player and Liam is really showing his worth now. Expecting changes in midfield and Watt on for Samuel sooner rather than later.
