thornwoodjag
Not done one of these for while, so maybe I’ll bring us some luck. What do we do for this one ? Two up top worked well against St J in our first home meeting last season, maybe try that again for rovers ? I wouldn’t change keepers, every goalie makes a mistake., As long as it was a one off I’m ok with that. (well not ok with it, but you know what I mean) Would have Ingram, Ashcroft, Lourghrey, and Reading then Drozd, Stanway, Dempsey and Henderson with obv Watt n Samuel. Might as well utilise the squad we have and give some folk a shot on the bench. Especially Aidan. He seems to b going through a wee phase where nothing is coming off for him and people are getting on his back again. Hoping the decision to not go for Tiffoney (if there was one) doesn’t come back to haunt us. I still believe we are a good team / squad and we will be in the top 1 at the end of the season. A win here to get us back on track !
Albert's Ghost
I'll be pleasantly surprised if we score.
JAG1970
Time to freshen things up. Dempsey, Ingram, Ashcroft, Henderson all deserve a chance. Big worry remains is if we play both Samuel and Watt we have no replacement striker off the bench, recognising Watt isn’t really a penalty box striker anyway. It’s something that may well harm us until we get someone else in, which could be January.
elevenone
This will test the home fortress. Raith coming off two decent wins and clean sheets with six scored into the bargain. I fear if we concede then the 3 points are not staying in Maryhill.

JeanieD
Looking at recent results we are, rather sadly, living up to the old cliche "Partick Thistle Nil" so if we follow that logic if Raith score, Raith win. Might not quite work out like that though.
Auld Jag
Imo this is the first period of pressure that our current coaching team have been under. Will be interesting to see how they and the team react to it.
Jaggernaut
Interesting that less than one third of folk who have voted think that we'll win....
lady-isobel-barnett
Wouldn't mind seeing two up top but preferably not Samuel/Watt. If fully fit I'd go for Henderson pairing with either Tony or Alex. Also feel the midfield needs shaken up. Need a better balance of variety of player in there. I suppose that it is indicative of the incredibly high standards that Wilson & Rae have set that a narrow loss away from home, the first defeat in the league for 8 months, combined with a handful of low scoring games almost seems like a mini-crisis. If I can attempt to venture an explanation for this dark cloud of concern, it is not so much that the play and the results have been absolutely terrible, it is more that for the first time Wilson & Rae seem powerless to find and implement solutions. On so many previous occasions whether within games or between games, Wilson & Rae have made tactical tweaks, changed formations and/or personnel, and altered the flow in an imaginative and positive way. These past few weeks, despite a strong squad and a plethora of options on the bench, that magic dust seems to have deserted them. I am thinking and hoping that this is a temporary phenomenon, and that both players and management team will soon be back to their best, starting today. Fearchar
Someone has obviously dropped a scarf at Kirkland Street, close to no. 33. I've hung it on the railing.

Jaggernaut
On paper at least, that's a pretty strong set of subs.

OK he was at fault on Tuesday night but that mistake apart he and the tmrest of the defence has been fine.

belfastjag
Looked at the team we had out. Looked at the bench. That's a very respectable squad. Certainly not coming together on the park.
JAGSMAN1968
Just back from that. Toothless yet again, as said before, we can forget about promotion this season. Draw, but felt like a defeat.
dl1971
Disappointing result again. Still plenty of time to gel in my opinion. Not panicking as yet....
JAG1970
For the first 30 mins I thought we were better than the last few games, passing was better, faster, creating decent if not brilliant chances. But same failings in front of goal, and the longer the game went on the poorer our delivery became. Eventually I was concerned rovers might steal it. We’ve scored 5 goals in 7 games, only Arbroath and QP have scored fewer. Neither of our two strikers has scored. Henderson when match fit might be the answer to our no.10 problem, but the failure to sign a striker looks as if it’s going to cost us a lot of points between now and January. Perhaps too many.
