Easyfundraising & Easysearch

Just a reminder about easysearch as it often gets overlooked. If you set easysearch as your home page and select wearethistle as your cause then you can raise money with each completed search you make. It works out as 1p for 2 searches but if you make several searches per day over a year then you can make a reasonable amount (and if we can get lots of people to do this then the amount becomes greater).

Thanks for your support, lets make that difference to our club!

Customer: Do you keep stationery miss?

Lady behind counter: No I tend to move around a bit!

It's an old seaside postcard joke but still makes me laugh. Anyway, if you do have any stationery requirements here is some info on companies who donate through easyfundraising:

Let's work together for the benefit of our club!

Not the cheeriest of topics but life insurance & healthcare are necessary things so we might as well try and get the benefit of some cash going to the wearethistle cause (to be passed to the club) when using the following companies:

By working together we can make a difference to our club!

Why not put any money raised so far towards the player sponsorship?

Maybe then those who can't afford the tenner will take part in this and have a hand in sponsoring a player this way?

The money that is generated through easyfundraising/easysearch does not get passed to the cause as soon as it is generated,it works on a quarterly payment scheme. The funds raised in the first quarter (Jan - Mar) are sent to the cause 60 days after the end of the quarter (in case there are refunds, missing donations, etc).

If you use Firefox, you can now download the Easysearch Toolbar - http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/easytoolbar/

Also, please remember you can add the "wearethistle fundraising" and the "wearethistle easysearch" search engines to your list of browser search engines by following the link below and then clicking on the relevant option (this works on Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome):

After today's result you may want to drown your sorrows or stuff your face with some chocolate so here is some info to help you:

http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/wine-and-food/

Also, if you could switch to easysearch as your search engine that would help with the efforts to generate additional funds for our club.

Thanks for your support and lets work together to have a positive impact on our club!

Just a reminder about the free funds aspect of easyfundraising which can really help raise some decent money in a short space of time (the Which offer is a great one although technically it is not free - it costs £1 but does generate £7.50 for the cause).

Some information specifically on Amazon as it is one of the most popular retailers on easyfundraising:

http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/amazon/

Also, the donation for a £1 one month trial of the Which website has increased from £7.50 to £10 - if we could get a few folk signing up for this that would give a big boost to the cause!

Thanks for your support!

Here is some info about eBay (one of the more popular retailers):

If you change your search engine to easysearch then you can raise funds for the cause when you make searches.
