yoda-jag
Just heard it for the first time. Priceless! Absolute Quality. A new batch of Lambieisms neatly wrapped up in that interview. John Lambie. Legend. Hero. Genius. Pure Class.
yoda-jag
Headbangers Lambie would like big Aero then Seems like Muirheads headbutt has gone viral ..... near 221,000 views and counting on this one alone. And worldwide comments reflect a large percentage of viewers come down on Aeros side too.
kni
Headbangers Lambie would like big Aero then Muirhead is definitely a Lambie player - big, strong, hard and (literally) a headbanger. I would expect Lambie to admire Bannigan and Sinclair too.
chunky jag
Kni- sinclair really? I think lambie would get frustrated by the fact he's not that great a defender. Aye he's got pace n a goood engine, but lambie i think would want him to defend 1st. Plus i've saw 1-2 incidents of him shitting out of tackles, like last night 1st half in front of northy
JeanieD
Notice that another omission is Bobby Law then again he wasnt a Lambie signing so presumably wasn't teacher's pet. Packing his team full of nutters and or "characters" is fair enough but the inclusion of a few long serving players not signed by him but who played hundreds of games for him might have diluted predictable litany of nutters/characters. chunky jag
I am suprised the likes of willie jamieson wasn't in there. I liked shaggy n craigan, a lot, but i thought jamieson was a crackin player. Ian cameron too i find an odd omission, as well as alby craig. Allan Heron
Most of the current team are about a decade too young to be considered for a Lambie XI
Lambies Lost Doo
Thistle have been on the podcasts not stop the past couple of weeks. Makes great listening when going to work on the tube.
lady-isobel-barnett
Lambie mentioned Albert Craig favourably in the interview. Albert was useless at defending corners when told to guard the post..And going forward he rarely had a first class delivery.
Jaggernaut
Just listened to the Lambie XI interview; great entertainment! "Big... eh... Oanay Won" (Armand One). The pigeon story is great!
Armand2
Just listened to the Lambie XI interview; great entertainment! "Big... eh... Oanay Won" (Armand One). The pigeon story is great! I was thinking about that One story; Lambie said Gerry sorted him out - Collins never came back for that three game stint, did he? If he did, I certainly don't recall it. cleveland steamer
Can't believe he put Gerry in his team in front of Geordie. Don't get me wrong - I loved Geltex, but he could be hopeless most of the time (never saw a player offside as much in my life!). At least on his first tour of duty with us...
