TMJ
Great photos. Does anyone know the colours of the Thistle top in the 1960 photo? I've never seen it before

jaggy
Great photos. Does anyone know the colours of the Thistle top in the 1960 photo? I've never seen it before I believe it's white with 2 red hoops & a yellow one and red shorts. It's been posted & discussed before a few times. The player with the ball is Johnny Flanagan Edited April 30, 2013 by jaggy

The Earl of Hathaway
I guessed it would be that one! It would make a great away strip. Â That is an ABSOLUTE beezer! We need to get Toffs to produce a few of those....
JeredStirlingsrightfoot
Does anyone else want Toffs/Greaves/anyone to produce 78-79? Outstanding kit. Would Umbro knock up a few for me?
Jaggernaut
That is an ABSOLUTE beezer! We need to get Toffs to produce a few of those.... Â Agreed. For some reason it didn't last more than a couple of weeks, and one home match. Maybe because at the time to badge looked too futuristic?.... who knows. But the present badge would sit very nicely in that. Â Any photoshop wizard out there like to try colouring it?
Lithgae Jag
Some great photos in there but Johnny Flanagan didn't sign for Thistle until about 1966/67. He was one of my first Thistle heroes when I started going regularly to Firhill at the age of 10 round about that time.

Exiled AusJag
I'm sure a few of us on this forum would have been at that game.Johnny Flanagan was a great player. In these days the home team changed, but only in Scotland. Every where else it was the away team.
