jif
to be honest, No, you'd be better off staying in the city centre. The only place out by the ground would be the welders club. Nice and friendly in there. There is a sports bar in the Odyssey arena about a 15 minute walk, although it's mainly ice hockey stuff as it's owned by an ex player. Alan Murray
subs Fox, O'Donnell, Craigen, Higginbotham, McDaid, Keenan, Fraser, Duggan Take a guess Trialist 3 is one of the left backs and not Barr. Yellow & Redneck
I did say earlier in the week we wouldn't pay to take a lot of trialists over to Northern Ireland. Looks like the closed-door game vs Rangers and then Sunderland XI will be where decisions are made. C'mon the Jags today.

Dug1e
so is Muirhead relieved of spot kick duties? He did do well but I always prefer an attacking type of player to take them.
jif
typical pre season friendly, Although it got a little heated in the second half. Osman looked like a big imposing lad in the middle of the park and does look quality. Stevenson looked not interested for parts today, but no doubt will prove to be an important signing through out the season. IMO todays left back is not the right answer to cover there for the whole season. I don't think we were ever going to loose this game but an awful lot of improving needs to be done before the start of the season. 1st touch on quite a few occasions was poor, although conditions might not have helped. Doolan did take his goal well. Good to see quite a few fans over, safe journey home.

Possibly substituted before, or else Higgy just fancied a go?
lady-isobel-barnett
so is Muirhead relieved of spot kick duties? He did do well but I always prefer an attacking type of player to take them. Thought at the time Higgy was really fired up and I couldn't see anyone remotely interested in taking the ball off him. I've no idea if either any consideration had been given prior to the friendly who would take spot kicks or indeed anyone would think priority mattered.
