thebiglemon
I'm worried. Â Feeling too optimistic. Never a good sign in my book. Â Will sit in the same place as County game and hope that does the trick. Â Seriously though. If we defend well, we win surely.
northernsoul
We are playing well and our form is good, so we have every reason to be confident of a positive result. Â However, I'm not going into the game expecting a straightforward three points. I'm certain Hamilton will give us a better fight than County did, so we will have to work very hard. Â An early goal always helps but I have confidence in the team to create throughout the match. Looking forward to it. Dick Dastardly
Interesting that Keenan is expected to play for the Development squad against Killy tonight (according to the OS). I thought that he might have been rested if Archie was expecting him to start on Saturday. I wouldn't think that he would break up the Balatoni/Seabourne partnership yet, so does this hint at Banzo to left back, or maybe mess things up with Muirhead into a defensive 3 ? Maybe I am reading too much into Keenan playing tonight. Â I think it will be a good game with 2 sides who have both started the season well. Home advantage should give us 3 points, but I'm not banking on it. We will need to bring our A game to Firhill for this one.

lady-isobel-barnett
Accies evidently pass the ball about well and try to play good football. I'm hoping it'll be like when we last played Livingston at Firhill and the opposition simply couldn't compete. That's way to simplistic and over optimistic into the bargain but it's a game we shouldn't be contemplating not winning. Their two wins ensure we won't be taking them lightly/ Assuming only Fox & McMillan are out I reckon we'll go with the same starting line up elsewhere with Gallacher and Keenan coming in. I think the game plan will be for Lawless to be replaced by Doolan after an hour or so with Stevenson dropping deeper. Maybe Elliott coming on.a bit earlier to help out Keenan. Not sure if Fraser coming up against his old side will be to our benefit or not. I don't believe it's a secret that he doesn't get on with one or two of their players and besides Accies are bound to try and noise him up. If there is a red card hopefully it'll be that clown Imrie on the receiving end.

partick monkey
I might have missed it somewhere but is there any news on McMillen's injury and how long he's likely to be out for?  I reckon it'll be:  Gallagher SOD Balatoni Muirhead Seabourne Fraser Osman Bannigan Stevenson Higgy Doolan

Andynptfc
Unleash Doolan and Elliott from the start, higinbottom and Stevenson on the bench, keeps everyone hungry  Doolan I'd agree with. Why would we leave our best player on the bench though? against one of the (supposedly) weaker sides in the league? After last years performances higgy should be the first name on the team sheet every week. Dropping him for Elliot would be madness.
Gibberish
Elliott's on for Stephenson then, u saying others only ever deserve a shot from the bench, they come on as subs if they perform they get the chance of a start, and Elliott has definitely performed when he has come on, like I say, keep them all hungry before players become pissed off, as Lawless did last season, look at him now that he's been given a chance, he's like a new signing
angry gaz
Was talking to a St Mirren fan in work and he said Hamilton were really physical and their midfield had booted st Mirren off the pitch in the first half. I'd say maybe A start for Elliot
Yellow & Redneck
Have to admit, I thought we would see an addition or two added to the squad over the course of the week. I'd probably agree with starting Elliot at least.

oneteaminglasgow
Gallacher  O'donnell - balatoni - seaborne - Keenan  Fraser - osman - bannigan  Elliott - higgy.  Stevenson.  Hamilton have had 2 very decent results, but against st Johnstone they were quite lucky as they were obviously hanging on in the end and saints had an absolute stonewall penalty turned down. They looked very dodgy against Inverness (at least in the highlights) and made some errors which were punished, and some which weren't. Hopefully we can punish any inexperience in their side (just as we were frequently punished last season) and come away winners.  Also, why anyone would think dropping higgy would be a good idea is beyond me, he hasn't been at his best last 2 games admittedly but still looks the most likely to make something happen and run at defences whenever he gets the ball. He's an automatic pick in our team unless he's injured or suspended.

Harry Wragg
I'm booked on the Goldbus for Sat morning to watch the mighty Partick Thistle FC , expecting to see a good all round entertaining contest between 2 refreshingly attacking teams in what I'm hoping to be a high scoring (for the Jags) football match. I have every faith in Archie to keep us up again this season and in fact to go a few places better at the finish, just hope we can keep him at Firhill for the foreseeable future, Lets hear it for the Jags !! scottymagoo
Is it hipster to say Christie Elliot is our best player all of a sudden? Cos if it is I'm going to start saying it. What's the justification, something about his opta stats, that always sounds clever? Is there a Dortmund player we could compare him with? Not hipster, nothing clever about it, just give the boys a chance that week in week out put their heart and soul into it, don't take nothing for granted, and spill blood for the opportunity to play and progress their careers, Elliott without a doubt one of the most improved players at the club
