  1. Rangers away for me ( i can't make the final in April) i would love nothing more than to go into work and give a massive GIRUY. From the 2-0(?) defeat in the cup a few years back i have had to listen to all their pish. Living amongst all these ********* can be painfull at times, but to beat them in their own back yard would be as sweet as anything. I've delayed doing my Rota's in work just in case we get them, so that i can get a flight. Am i right in saying that if we get rangers it will be put back due to the Scotland game on Friday night.

  2. To the tune of Que sera sera

I was a young and thoughtless lad

I asked my mother what i should be

    should i follow THISTLE

    or the Bully Wee

here's what she said to me

    wash your mouth out son

go get me your fathers gun

and shoot the "gypo" scum, shoot the scum.

  3. As long as you stay in the centre of the town you'll be fine. At the back of Robinson's is a little bar called Fibber McGees, Traditional irish music every night and is well worth an evenings entertainment. If you come out the door of Fibbers and turn right there's a crackin wee pizza place called litte Italy. The crown and The beaten docket are well worth a night too. The crown gets it's history from the irish workers that built it, there is a mosaic on the floor as you walk in through the door and every time one of the workers walked in the used to wipe their feet on it.Luckly it's not like that now and you'll be made very welcome. As far as sports bars go the only one i can think of is Rockies at the Odyssey Arena, it is decked out in mainly ice hockey tops as its were the belfast giants play there home games. Saturday night football can usually be watched and then most would head up to watch the hockey. Enjoy your stay.

  4. Flight at 7,so guessing need to b at airport at 6.

Prob only solution is private taxi.between £15 and £17 prob.

According to the OS the game has now been postponed. Not having much luck this year as i came over on the saturday morning for the morton game and 2 weeks after i booked my flight the game was changed to the Friday night.

  5. Trying to get over for the Ayr game on the 28th January. My flight back to Belfast will be at 1900HRS.What will be the best/quickest/cheapest way to get to the airport after the game and more importantly will i be able to make the flight.

    Thanks

    Jon

  6. Bringing my wife and 14 year old son to Firhill for the 1st time, is there a pub close to the ground the allow woman, oops i meant kids. Any time i have been in the S and G or the Woodside i can't ever remember seeing any kids in them. After the game i need to make a quick exit and get to Kirkcaldy as the Belfast giants are playing the Fife Flyers(ice hockey, the main reason the wife and son are coming but every little helps) What is the best way to get there buy car.

  7. Surely it looks good now for the Canuck boys!

Can't believe the Canucks can be so bad away from home, yet still be in with a shout. There fore check last night was the best i have seen from any team in years. Still hope the bruins win but they don't seem to have what it takes to win in Vancouver.

  8. I get over to Glsagow for 1 game a season, this season it was vs Dunfermline at the end of January ( 2-0 Jags). That day we played them off the park and Dunfermline were really poor. It's hard to believe that the team i saw that day were the best team throughout the year.

  9. Great result for the Canucks. Too bad Montreal lost today as I had this sad fantasy of Montreal vs Vancouver in the final. Hopefully the Canucks can push on from this series and do well in the next one. I think they play Nashville.

i knocked my laptop off at 0325 as the game went into overtime, had to be in work for 0830 (it was a long day). but well worth it. Bring on the flyers in what i hope will be a classic physical battle.
