I mind Rangers neds stealing our flags then burning them, we should not be sinking to that level.  Hopefully they get drum back as listening to it is gonna be more entertaining than watching them under Adams this season.

I hope they get banned and the Police are involved. Pathetic wee bullies who should be made to pay for a new drum.

Lets id them before too long....this is just NOT Thistle!

How much is the budget required to sign  new players    I know a lot depends on season tickets  sales hospitality new sponsors  sale of strips etc

How far short are we money wise

If the season tickets were on sale right now, I would buy mine tonight. Can't wait to get to Firhill once more to support the club, the team and Kris Doolan.

  3. I posted back in April that she may have been taking us for mugs. I was proved correct.....I said at the time if she did,  then I would not renew my season ticket. She timed it well!
I still think they are covering up for something with the no DD and the new preferred share puppets.

  4. If she/they is/are taking us for mugs (if being the operative word!), then I for one will withhold my season ticket renewal until I am clearer on the situation. I suggest that a possible lack of revenue from season ticket sales will create the urgency to clear up the matter. I suggest others do the same!

  5. "Fan ownership, by its very nature, must involve some kind of financial commitment, probably monthly or annually, to the club."

Why is this the case?  We have been gifted the investment already made by CW.  In Motherwell's case, the monthly payment is to pay back a £1m loan from the former

owner to the fans to buy the club. I can understand the very real need to spend more on the stadium as this will deteriorate and cost more to fix if it isn't maintained properly.

I would not want another £10 per month of my hard earned  going on a players budget when the normal entry, season ticket, advertisement, sponsorship and other income should take care of that on a proper budget.

Any other opinions on the above or ring fencing monthly contributions?

  6. 1. Imagine in an alternative universe - someone rocks up and offers £5 million for the club - who gets the money in the current business model?

    2. In the same universe - same £5 million - who gets the money in the Fan Ownership model (assuming everyone agrees to sell)?

    Question & Answer form??

    Seriously.

    Whats you favorite soap?

Who the funniest person at board meetings?

This was what concerned me in the statement. It would appear that the board want to make it so difficult for the TJF to extract relevant information that we end up with questions such as favourite soaps etc. as we get bored with the whole exercise. Now this may also suggest that the Board want to keep the status quo and buy some time to get the finances in order!

And even with more substantial work in 2016, here we are again. Replanting is just good money after bad. If we're staying at Firhill, I think we need to find the money for a 4G surface.

It’s the “ if we’re staying at Firhill”  bit that may be more concerning. The whole stadium is looking tired with little or no serious maintenance carried out over the last few years. Maybe there’s a project plan hidden somewhere ready to be executed when fan ownership bites the dust?

  9. I don't think we are in any way prepared for the Premier. That's not to say we wouldn't want it but there would have to be a massive rebuild (6-8 players at least) in my opinion. I never thought we had a good Championship winning team (no real consistent enterprise, creativity and excitement in our play) but I think we should still aim for second and give ourselves a better chance in the play-offs! I think we looked tired yesterday.....I'm sure the mud bath that is the Firhill pitch is not only stifling our football style but sapping our strength, trying to catch up on the postponed games.
