  1. Not being able to get to the games has been a pain for me. But listening to the radio has nearly driven me nuts!

Not sure if anyone heard Chick Dung gloating when Saints went a goal up....but the wee nyaff has been driving me nuts with his incessant yammering through games on the radio... I very nearly am inclined to throw things, and more so when the little rat behaves as if his beloved Sevco are playing Bayern Munich!

  2. With 10 minutes left, it looks very much like Archie hasn't got that other striker he was looking for.

How much do we need one?

By some accounts we need someone to finish off many of the cross balls we are producing, and today may have been a different story, if we hadn't scored late on. We really should have won against DU and Hearts..and we may have drawn with Well, if we had taken our many chances.

So what next? A loan deal, or more shooting practice for so many of our more attacking players?

One thing for sure.... What a team we have!!!

  3. We missed Welsh when he went off....It allowed them more into the game.... I know we beat County by a mile last Saturday...But the two home games has shown us that we need to be much more clinical with our finishing.

As for the Hearts goal? I felt that it maybe should have been a free kick to us....The Hearts player came right through the back of Fraser while he was coming out with the ball, and he was hobbling when Walker ran straight past him to score.

Really gutted...We should have won that game by a country mile!!

  4. Seemingly the feud goes on!

According to the Sun Dundee United will complain to the SPFL about Firhill — and will brand it UNSAFE for away fans. The Tangerines board have drafted a letter to the new governing body complaining about the treatment of fans during Friday's game.

If I didn't thoroughly dislike them already for a host of historical reasons, they are really pissing me off now!

  5. Not sure what anyone else thought, but I reckoned we missed Craig at certain points on friday night. Some of these crosses coming in were begging to be headed in by a big front man on Friday night. So I hope Archie still has one more player to sign in that mould.

  6. I wouldn't be surprised to see Erskine back , at some point. A bit like Archie going to DU, just different circumctances. Another player I wouldn't be surprised seeing coming back is Cairney.

Sometimes the grass isn't alwas greener on the other side....and also some players just fit in better with certain clubs. The Bridge is one of these players I think.

  7. It seems to me from Archies comments that he is quite keen on Gary Fraser, but not at all convinced that we might be able to sign him,as he has other options elsewhere.

The mere fact that he mentioned him by name, and not the other trialist who has gone back to Spain to see if he can sort things out regarding development fees to his previous clubs, says pretty much that Fraser is one he would like to have, but thinks it unlikely.

  8. Intereseting one....I note that he played for them regularly up till the point he went down to Bolton for a weeks trial... A fee had been agreed between the clubs and they expected him to go. However for whatever reason, he chose not to move on the 31st January.....and threafter he only played one more game for them in February, and that was it.

It seems to be that possibly Hamilton were miffed at him for not taking the move, and they lost out on a fee.

So it maybe is a case of a fall out behind the scenes.

I note that he arranged by mutual consent with the club, to end his contract early... Thus he has become available.

  9. Such Pious Outrage that some people show!!

Dallas should have gone, but for football related matters, along with MacDonald.

The Catholic Church would have been better advised to treat the whole matter with contempt, and totally Ignored it.

You would think by now, that people would be more wise, and not forward dubious joke emails or any personal stuff from a works computer. Likewise, realise that all their tweets and Facebook comments are effectively in the public domain.

I am perfectly sure that given the mountain of dubious jokes I have had sent to me over the years by email, that there will be some that I found mildy amusing enough to have forwarded, without thinking too deeply of the implications of someone taking them seriously.

Really,it is as always, a Media driven frenzy, which does no good whatsoever for society.

It is about time that we took a proper look at how people allow themselves to be sucked into stories which are generated to create controversy to sell papers.
