Annoying at times. But would miss it.

The person whom Roughie has his hands on his shoulder, is Jim Mullen. Recently retired as a scout for St Mirren. took my boy there and allowed him to score against the Jags! The shame!

Could be covered elsewhere, but on SPFL You Tube now.

Does anyone know if tickets can be bought on the day of match ? hoping to get down from North Uist but dependent on ferry sailing so it will be a last minute decision.
On the Official site "Tickets can also be bought on the day of the game"

I'm not able to get any score updates for our division since 1st half. Would appreciate if someone could post fulltimes. Cheers.
Radio Scotland had techncial problems all day and get the impression that they all get scores from the same source. Sky is as bad.

A win is a win I guess.
The team was weakened so this suggests to me Jackie thought this should be an easy game. It wasn't but if anything it showed tonight that Scully needs to go out on loan and gain some exp and confidence, He is not our back up goalie and we need to get someone in who has a bit more experience.
Normally I would agree but Jackie made a huge mistake tonight with that team and it really wasn't acceptable. I think fans were right to be frustrated and angry. We should be beating an amateur 3rd division team by 3 or 4 goals.
Also Fans being chucked out for swearing is a bit too much imo. Singing and having a laugh clearly wasn't allowed! Although moving people up that back was a good idea!
The queues at the turnstiles were a joke, probably shown by the fact KO was delayed and it wasn't clear what was a kids gate or adults gate. Just a shambles!
A win is a win I guess!
That's where it went wrong. Children shouldn't be allowed at football matches.

Simply out, the estimates from Celtic and the police were for over 3000 Celtic fans - similar to last year. Hence the police presence. Clearly, that didn't transpire. The police that did attend were familiar with the Celtic support, so I can only assume the searches were OlympIc training, as someone else suggested.
After last year's game, wouldn't the searches be to check for flares?(insert 70s pun) Police weren't to know that only two men and a dug were turning up and that anyone setting off a flare would have stood out!

Good to hear, but I fear harder challenges lie ahead than a couple of youth teams.
To be fair, according the programme a lot of the Everton team have played EPL, English 1st or Europa Games. Some of them have scored in EPL games. So not that bad a standard.
-
£15 for a friendly against a youth team is good value? It was two adults who changed their mind ,when they heard £15. Who was genuinely going to wait 30 minutes to watch 2nd division Airdrie versus a Everton youth team, with only one of them playing a EPL league game.
-
Not a traditional club basher ,but they need to have a good look at themselves. Charging £15 and £10 obviously put people off. I'd mates who were coming but decided against it, when they heard the price. I paid £25 today (season tickets tomorrow) to watch a Celtic YOUTH team, not even reserves.
The Celtic crowd confirmed this and overall bad planning. A tournament only works with 4 first teams. We should have left it the same as last year. 3pm versus Celtic and nothing else.

Just in from the Discover Decathlon Day. Paul Paton and Stephen O'Donnell spent hours with the small number of fans and kids who turned up. They were in great spirit, along with Roughie and Maxy. The sight of Stephen O'Donnell in a canoe with some cheerleaders, singing "Mary from Maryhill" with stay with me for life! A few kids wearing the new strip and very smart too.
Community coach was great with organising a two hour kick about. A good day.

Need to share a few highlights of the day. We'd droped in with our 8 year old and we were on the way to his birthday party and couldn't stay the entire day. However, Charlie arranged with the We Are Thistle Team to get him and his 6 year old friend a game. This was a brilliant gesture by Charlie and the team. Then when they ran on to the pitch ,the crowd gave them a round of applause ,which was another great touch.
Then during the second game, my son passed to the player who hit a 30 yard screamer in to the top corner. Now most people would have gone on a wild celebration after that (I know I would have) ,but he ran to my son and congratulated him on the pass. A truly magnificient gesture and summed up the day for me. The camaraderie and what it means to be a Jags fan. He felt about 10 feet tall after that and is claiming an assist.
Now all I need is advice on whether to tell him that if he'd stayed he'd have been holding the trophy or leave him in blissful ignorance.

Radio Scotland say that there is a press conference at 10 and "a deal" has been done. No idea what though.
-
Apologies if on another thread, but couldn't see it. Tonight's ET has Stewart, Burns and Griffin all being "let go".
-
Just got a phone call and an e-mail, our son has been picked for the day. He's really chuffed and hopes he can wear an Archie mask when running out.
-
Official history has him on 25 games over 3 seasons. My count has it as 7 wins, 3 draws and 12 defeats, including a 4-4 draw. Thought he was ok as well.
-
The foul on Doolan, leading up to the Morton goal is blatant. Can't believe it wasn't given. Archie poor for the goal though.
-
Really sorry to hear that. Always looked forward to the photos. The one you gave me of me, my son and Pee Tee sitting in the stand, is actually on my wall. Hope things improve and you'll still be at Firhill and Milton on a Sunday. All the best.

At least Raith are being humped.

Here we go again...."Resource Limit Reached"
I'm using the SFL website. A bit Spartan, but updates on time!

He meant it. We were 6 foot from it and directly in line. Think about it ,Bannigan was on the deck, so how else can studs get him on the head. If it was mistimed, then it might have been around the knee area. Brittain jumped and it was a red, never mind no booking.
-
I stil think we should get Gus McPherson as our manager!
-
If we were 9 points behind the leaders we would be saying we are still in the title race, ergo does being 9 points from bottom still mean we are in a relegation battle?
It's 7 from the Play Offs.
