In 10 days time we will have played County away and Dundee at home.
Dundee will have played Morton and ourselves.
County will have played us, Stirling and Falkirk.
Cowden will have played Falkirk, Queens and Stirling.
Going by form, home/away etc, I'd say we will only take 1 point, drawing against County. Dundee will take 6. County will take 4 points and Cowden will take 4 from Queens and Stirling.
Effectively, come a week on Saturday, we realistically could be sitting 3 points off the play off place going into:
Tuesday, 8 March 2011
Cowdenbeath v Dundee
Dunfermline v Ross County
Partick Thistle v Queen of South
March is going to be hectic and could either make or break our season, we could head into it on a roll and find some form that turns stale draws into wins. However, if we get into a run of more defeats and draws, whilst Calderwood boots County up the backside, we could end up in a dog fight with Cowden.
Right now, I'm worried, if you look at our form since and including the St Johnstone Cup game am I right in saying we've only had maybe 6 shots ON target(in 4 games)?
Don't be so pessimistic you clueless hobbit..McCall is the man he will have us firing on all cylinders again soon

the BNP should be saluted in what they are trying to do for this country...90% of the people who dislike the BNP have just jumped on the band wagon without knowing anything about the party.
People seem to totally disregard that this country has been swamped by immigrants...and it is at a desperate level.
we should follow the rules of countries like Australia..if you are not going to enrich the country you are immigrating to you should not be allowed in!

Chic has vast experience coaching kids usually voluntarily...he coached at some training school the late great Bobby Robson was involved in so that tells its own story

We will romp the league by at least 20 points. Swap deal: Erskine for Messi. Fabio Capello to join as our assistant manager after the world cup.
Some people need to live in the real world. top 4 would be an achievment for us next year.
Aye maybe so still a season of nothingness though...thats why folk are fed up going to games..if we can't challenge for the title or at least think we can whats the feckin point?

In my opinion, there is no way McCall will be punted, even if we have a disasterous start. From what I can gather, the board are very high on McCall and he still has a fair length on his contract to run. Dont think the board can afford to pay him off.
What I will say is, the pessimisim here is shocking. The season hasnt even begun. I have confidence in McCall to bring in a few good players and I reckon a top 4 finish is certainly achievable.
Its about time we back the manager/club instead of all this doom and gloom, im readin on here

Been thinking about next season,If we start the season badly and are round about the bottom of the table after the first quarter, Do u think McCall will be punted and Lennon brought in? or will McCall be given the full season even if we are on the brink??
I think it is highly unlikely that Stirling and Cowdenbeath/Alloa will be better than us but who know's

He was our player, played for us, scored for us & we paid him.
Maybe we did make him? He wasn't getting a chance at Livi, came here played well. Scored some goals, went back to Livi & never looked back..
Yes DC Made Graham Dorrans the player he is today if you believe that you probably believe that Messi and Tevez are joing us on loan next season!

Christ a new forum and still mass hysteria over Graham Dorrans..this thread should be on a lavvy forum as Graham Dorrans was never actually a Thistle Player..he was a guy we got on loan who has turned out well..the way folk harp on and on about him as if we made him..FFS!!!
