  1. I've probably posted this before but my son was mascot v Hibs. I took him and my daughter to meet Lambie before the match and was telling Lambie about my daughters only previous Thistle match. She was sitting on my knee when Thistle scored and as I punched the air to celebrate I accidentally punched her too. Lambie replied, "well I hope you punch her a couple of times today"

  2. I don't think this would have swayed voters either way but it 's false information. (and never likley to have happened). I seem to remember an interview with Cameron stating this information too but have searched and searched and can't find it so I have no proof. I do think it's a bit unfair to call Jaggernaut bitter, twisted and ridiculous when really what he said was correct

  3. "Commenting on the Better Together leaders' statements, SNP MSP David Torrance said: “Better Together told the Scottish electorate that a motion would be presented to parliament on Friday the 19th September on giving more powers to Scotland - a promise which has already been broken."

I have a better together flyer which states this too.

  4.

Ask yourself if it had been a 55 to 45 for YES and the better together campaign was blaming certain sectors of the population on age or nationality, proposing boycotts of several companies employing Scottish people and claiming the vote was rigged, what tactics would you state they were taking??

I would think they were just a wee tad upset and wetting their knickers on social media and then I'd putt the telly on.

  5. Jaggernaut bit very easily but did not have to reply in such an offensive manner. It's sad that that several Yes supporters here cannot accept the will of the majority (55%) who voted in a referendum with a massive 85% turnout.

Yeah that's very true. The response was over the top. I'm sure yes voters ARE finding it hard to accept. It's been two years of relentless campaigning for some, chatting with family, online forums or whatever else to try and get their message across. Do you expect people to just move on in one day? That's just not how people work.

  6. Mr Hankey didn't really need to come on here and say "get it round yees" and tell us he's bringing a flag. If he wants to do that to celebrate then that's up to him and there's no problem with it but he's obviously out to get a rise from people who are still very disappointed about last night and are sure to 'bite'. Too easy. Now that's sad.

  7. The next few months could be an entertaining political bloodbath that will finish the careers of all the useless party leaders. Bring it on!

And who can we look forward to taking their place? Serious question. I've no idea. Who do you think would be cream of the crop?
