Had a few beers with Gordon Rae in the little village he lives in Corfu. He came down especially to the bar I was in. The guy who owned it knew him and when I told him I was a Thistle fan he got in touch with Gordon. top bloke.

I've probably posted this before but my son was mascot v Hibs. I took him and my daughter to meet Lambie before the match and was telling Lambie about my daughters only previous Thistle match. She was sitting on my knee when Thistle scored and as I punched the air to celebrate I accidentally punched her too. Lambie replied, "well I hope you punch her a couple of times today"

I don't think this would have swayed voters either way but it 's false information. (and never likley to have happened). I seem to remember an interview with Cameron stating this information too but have searched and searched and can't find it so I have no proof. I do think it's a bit unfair to call Jaggernaut bitter, twisted and ridiculous when really what he said was correct

"Commenting on the Better Together leaders' statements, SNP MSP David Torrance said: “Better Together told the Scottish electorate that a motion would be presented to parliament on Friday the 19th September on giving more powers to Scotland - a promise which has already been broken."
I have a better together flyer which states this too.

Ask yourself if it had been a 55 to 45 for YES and the better together campaign was blaming certain sectors of the population on age or nationality, proposing boycotts of several companies employing Scottish people and claiming the vote was rigged, what tactics would you state they were taking??
I would think they were just a wee tad upset and wetting their knickers on social media and then I'd putt the telly on.

T this isn't tolerate of differing views, this is how the brown shirts behaved. This needs to calm down before we head in a very dangerous direction
Are you for real?

Jaggernaut bit very easily but did not have to reply in such an offensive manner. It's sad that that several Yes supporters here cannot accept the will of the majority (55%) who voted in a referendum with a massive 85% turnout.
Yeah that's very true. The response was over the top. I'm sure yes voters ARE finding it hard to accept. It's been two years of relentless campaigning for some, chatting with family, online forums or whatever else to try and get their message across. Do you expect people to just move on in one day? That's just not how people work.

Mr Hankey didn't really need to come on here and say "get it round yees" and tell us he's bringing a flag. If he wants to do that to celebrate then that's up to him and there's no problem with it but he's obviously out to get a rise from people who are still very disappointed about last night and are sure to 'bite'. Too easy. Now that's sad.

Well it's time for Better together to prove to the 45% why we're better together. Lets give them a year. Tell you what, I'll set up a timetable.

The next few months could be an entertaining political bloodbath that will finish the careers of all the useless party leaders. Bring it on!
And who can we look forward to taking their place? Serious question. I've no idea. Who do you think would be cream of the crop?

If you're still undecided watch this speech by Gordon Brown

Sensitive wee soul aren't you.

Excellent, another referendum thread.

I see old Davie boy is coming up to plead with us to stay.

You must have been right in there when the internet was introduced. Or maybe not. Great thread anyway.

John Lambie is also a Scotsman who is eligible to vote and entitled to voice an opinion as would a Doctor or a Tesco worker or someone on a football forum. Why should he 'keep out of politics'. It involves him too. Never understand that sort of thinking. Perhaps it just doesn't sit well with your thinking?

This is the first time I've read about dodgy Rangers fans on this forum. Deserves about 35 pages.
