From the mouth of the King.
"For the Pars at East end 1996 in the league cup.
Maybe for Livi at Firhill in Challenge Cup about 2000 but might have dreamt that one."

I've taken the liberty of copying this from the Thistle Weir Youth Academy Facebook page.
On August 15th our under 11s will take part in the Glasgow FA Festival at Toryglen.
Celtic, Rangers, Queens Park, Malaga, Middlesborough are among those taking part in the day long, 8 team tournament.
Each of the Glasgow teams have been asked to provide two businesses willing to take out £50 adverts in the festival programme, to assist with the running costs of the event.
As such are there any parents willing to take out the advertisement? If so could you contact Academy Director Gerry Britton at the earliest opportunity to discuss.

Nipping over to Dublin for a couple of days at the end of May to meet relatives from the USA who will be on holiday there.
Anyone got suggestions for a city centre hotel in the 3* range (maybe about £100 a night)?
Thanks in advance.
A likely story, does Missus Skwerr know about this? :-)

Any stories or highlights from those that attended?
Is that Gerry's extended family there?
Yip. Mammy, Daddy, sister, wife and weans.

I believe it was Robert Reid. It was meant to be a surprise and it was.

This is definitely worth a watch then.
Reminds me of the Walter Smith Interview with Chick Dung.

After a save by the keeper "it was at a nice height for him"
Not football related but "at this moment in time"

Saoil nach bu chòir dhuinne a bhios a' leantainn nan Cluaran (agus a' bruidhinn Gàidhlig) a' tighinn cruinn còmhla bho àm gu àm. Tha fhios gu bheil sinn ann aig geamaichean, agus 's dòcha gum b' fhiach seo a dhèanamh am broinn na pàirce uaireign dìreach gus am bi fios againn cò th' ann. Cò aig a bheil fios - 's dòcha gun gabhadh gairm Ghàidhlg a chur air bhonn airson BBC ALBA!
You wantae come ootside an repeat that ?

I joined the scouts 135 Ogilvie in Garnethill in 1952. On my first night there we were all interviewed by the police investigating the Murder of Betty Alexander a 4 1/2 tear old girl. The killer has not been caught.

Limits on loan players do not apply when players loaned to teams in a different football association.

When I saw the foam first used about 10 years ago in South American games it was used to speed up the game. The ref drew the circle paced of the 10 yards drew a line and got set for the free kick and any opposition player hanging around in between was booked.
Now it takes about a minute to take a free kick.

Question for billko. It's pretty hard not to read about the daily shenanigans at Ibrox, but can you tell me who exactly Paul Murray is and why he seems to turn up regularly with a quote supporting Dave King or the latest saviour? From what I can gather Murray (any relation to David?) was a director of the oldco, so surely he should be keeping well out of it. Also, did he put any serious money up previously, because he never seems to be mentioned as putting any money up just now. Sorry for asking on this forum, it's just bugged me for years who the **** he is, a bit like the grim faced guy who is always in the Rangers dug out cos I've no idea who he is either
Could he be Spartacus?

Copied from Facebook. by Scott Allison.
A great end to 2014 for our youth academy! The SFA licensing committee have awarded our academy 4 star status, we have jumped from a 2 star in one year and now sit at same grade as many top established academies in scotland.
In my opinion the success of any organisation ultimately comes down to the attitudes and efforts of the people within it. In the past year I genuinely believe we've put together a staff team of the highest quality - from coaches, sports science staff, medical etc. A great bunch of folk and the hard work all are putting in is starting to pay off as we motor forward with our plans. All the guys working in the academy can be proud of their efforts in 2014 creating a top quality environment for player development. Well done team

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 20 minutes of the Spain game on Canadian TV.
Got the crowd noise but no commentary, magic.
Oh for a button that would mute the commentary.
