Shirt Sponsorship 2018 - 2019
To those Nomads who raised enough to sponsor Steven Saunders Home and Away shirts, here are the results of our efforts and the shirt winners!
We raised £375 from 14 Nomads...... yes only 14! Donations ranged from £10 to £100 (Thanks Jack Coy!)
£340 passed to the club and £35 carried forward to next season.
I have just used my Random number generator for the 75 (Fiver each) tickets and here are our two shirt winners!
George Harris wins the Home shirt with ticket #29 (tickets 20 - 29)
Lori Cohen wins the Away shirt with ticket #41 (tickets 41 - 43)Congratulations!! Contact me regarding any signatures you may like or not and pass me your addresses.
Shirt Sponsorship 2019 - 2020
Another Season ... and another opportunity for the Nomads to shine.
Once again its time to dig deep and help us raise as much as we can to get yet another 2 Nomad Shirts at least! With approaching 1000 of us here we can do better especially in these times of need.
As in the past, every £5 raised earns you a "ticket" to the random number generator end of season raffle.
Don't hang about please as we have only a few days before shirts are offered more widely to the fan base.
Paypal GIFT donations to me are ideal as we raise more that way. You do not need a paypal account to do this.
Send your contributions to me as ever at [email protected]
If you prefer to send a cheque then let me know here and post it to

I have nabbed Steven Saunders Away top too
Two shirts secured this year.
Thanks to everyone around the world

Steven Saunders Home Shirt secured for the Nomads ...
... I have some more funds, but not enough for a second shirt ..
.. so if you wish to contribute to this cause, please do so soon.
I may well hold onto any shortfall to await January Transfer activity or pass the funds over to the clubs for some standard replica tops for our raffle

and I have interest.
What is the Official Paypal email address to be used?
-
I will take this across to the Nomads on Facebook
-

-

Shirt Sponsorship 2019-2019
Today I bought Banzos’ away shirt as hopefully the first of several Nomad sponsored shirts.
As in the past, you Nomads can PayPal me a sponsorship donation and get a raffle ticket for the end of season draw.
For each fiver you donate you get one raffle ticket.
PayPal me, as a friend so we avoid fees, at [email protected]
Can you move quickly on this so that we can get more shirts that we’d like sooner?

Back from Florida.
Got details of the Nomad Order for our original flag after search of emails from 2013.
I need an email address to forward this info.

How could the old flags be burned? Shouldn't they have been made of fire-resistant materials, at least until Brexit? Maybe petrol was poured on them, of course.
Yes the Nomad flag was definitely fire retardant. Pity the retardants got it.

Shuggie, can you not access your email from abroad? Perhaps it is in sent items, unless you're far more organised than I am at clearing them!
Sore point. Webmail keeps all my mail on home Pc. I can only see new stuff when away
Aaaagggghhhh
-
Eh. Whit?
Lol. Yes I am sure that there are good apples there. Haven,t they raised money too to show they sympathise with us?
-
If you can send me an email with the design I can get quotes in the meantime?
Impossible now I'm away from home at the moment.
The original manufacturer gave a competitive quite and produced a decent flag.
Bad luck I can't react quickly
-
Nice one Shuggie.
Almost time for stage two. If you guys want to organise a NOMAD flag and design sorted the funds will be in place soon. Manpreet will organise The Jordanhill Bus flag and I know the chap who organised the Amsterdam Jags flag so I'll move on that.
PM with details or any questions Shuggie
The earliest I can action replacement of the Nomad flag is December on my return to the UK.
The flag design is a vectored one - meaning it can fe scaled up without distortion of the design. I am sure my email logs have th stuff I issued to the manufacturer, so replacement should be easy if somewhat delayed.
That said, this might not be a bad thing as there is merit in checking that fund raising is coordinated, if not centralised.
We need to ensure that decent Rangers fans are involved too ( both my Blue brothers are appalled by these morons)
Coordination and good visibility will pay dividends.
My thanks on behalf of the Nomads to ALL concerned

Club players involved in raising funds? BAnyone got inf on this?
-
I like the idea of it being one pot for us all.
I wonder too what if any gesture RFC might make via our Club?
Good to hear that decent Rangers fans are also sensitive to our loss.
I am in Florida for a good while but the template files for our flag are hopefully still available at home.
I love our flag and am happy to see it resurrected.
-
My earlier post regarding reimbursement for the flag was directed at Rangers and their fans, not us!
-
Feeling pretty sad that our Nomad flag has gone. Commiseration to the guys associated with the other two.
Let's hope the guilty are found and punished. The bill for the Nomad Flag is circa £600 in today's money.
PayPal payments can be sent to my email address as listed on the club website.

Hi Nomads,
Well, I loaded a Randon Number Generator App onto my iPad and created three winners for this past season
And they are:
1st Andy Bowers ..... who bought fifteen tickets with his donation
2nd John Bailey ..... who bought four
3rd James Anderson ..... who bought four
Guys, if you have a preference, let me know your first and second choices for the kit you'd like to receive.
Many thanks to everyone who helped us raise welcome cash for the Club.
Please let me have your addresses and I'll get the kit sent out to you from the Club.
Basically how this has worked in recent years is that Nomads chip in a contribution to allow us to sponsor kit and be advertised as such in the Club Programmes.
Once I have a volunteer as my successor in this role we can get next season's kit sponsorship drive started.

Inauguration of the new King of the Nomads

I'm pleased to tell you all that Raymond Stark has agreed to take over the Nomad Secretary position as we near 1000 members. Indeed , the Facebook based Nomad group is close to 1000 and with some of us here perhaps not part of that scene ,we may indeed have already surpassed 1000.
It has been a pleasure to help bring us together and a delight to see how the Club's internet presence has been transformed over recent years to the benefit of all but especially felt by the worldwide Nomad fans.
Hugh
Nomad, just crazy about the Jags.
