    It might be an idea to run a poll here asking what category of fan you are. Regular, attendee, irregular attendee or no longer attend. If i get time later I'll start one off.

     

    Can you add - Member of the Nomads and also (for those who have not joined the 560 of us Nomads) I live far far far away

    Do you know someone who has slipped away from Firhill?

     

    Can you contact them and ask them to give you straight and honest answers to an informal fan survey?

     

    What are you reasons for not coming along to watch the Jags?

     

    What would bring you back?

     

    Once you have these answers, then have a chat to see if there is anything else of interest to feedback to us all here.

     

    And thank them for helping us!

     

    Remember, Facts will drive strategies and tactics if we are to succeed in making a difference.

    Hi Nomads ... and friends thereof......

     

    We are invited to collect our sponsored away shirt on the 23rd at the JT Bash .. failing that it gets posted to me.

     

    I'd prefer a Nomad to collect it on the night .. much more memorable for all concerned.

     

    Anyone going and able to do this .. and not lose the shirt in the stupor that follows???

    The shirt will be raffled (as usual) among those who chipped in and posted on to the winner at my expense.

    Saturday's game and that equaliser and its consequences for SPFL 8th place revenue has been preying on my mind, especially against the backdrop of a significant decrease in gate receipts this season.

     

    Do we know (no guesses) why numbers are down? Do you know someone who has slipped away and why?

     

    Has anything that YOU have done helped mitigate the drop in gates (so others might mimic your actions)?

     

    Getting fans through the gates is the single most important factor (though the chicken and egg of team performance could be raised ... but we have done well this year .... )

     

    What can be done?

    --- Get hold of that lapsed supporter you know and get them back to Firhill

    --- Get someone you know alone to the next game at Firhill

    --- Focus on the younger groups especially as they age to become paying fans at the gates

    --- Can't skip over the Nomads keen interest on Matchday experiences from afar!

     

    ---- what else?

     

    and if this covers the gate receipts, where else would your ££££ make its way most effectively through to the Club's Bank Account?

    Where is the best pence per pound from this list (others I have missed?)

    What could be done to improve revenues ... where is THE PLACE to start?
