  1. hoofing high balls to Dools isn't working , not our style anyway, Pogba IMO isn't a footballer , he hustles and bustles and now and then the ball breaks off his foot to the right man , think I'd like to see us playing the same brand of passing football that won us promotion , so, where is it Archie ?

  2. Are we not all forgetting that we only win a major trophy every 50years.? Let's concentrate on supporting the club in the league campaigns and not worry about disappointing cup runs, 2021 will be our year, let's hear it for the Jags.!!

  3. Very few of the posters here were at the game, we didn't deserve to lose, it's cup luck, they got one chance and took it, lawless bundled off the ball, too many high balls punted forward, and let's not forget bumbling Collum and his gang of incompetents, so,not all Archie's or the teams fault

  4. I know for a fact that i'm not the only one who was disgusted with the standard of refereeing on Saturday, the St Johnstone fans were also flabbergasted at some of the decisions and yet the media appeared to praise Beatons performance , the reporters in question weren't at the same game I watched !! My biggest gripe is the fact that the linesmen don't appear to contribute to any decision making , for example when the ball goes out , their flag goes up vertically and only directionally at the refs decision, are they told before the game that the ref is running the show ? He cant possibly see everything so surely the other officials should be more involved in matters. Would be interesting to know what the decorum is regarding control of the game , imo one of the reasons for dwindling attendances is the shockingly low standard of refereeing.

  5. Anyone who was at Perth on Saturday would have to agree that we saw a fantastic first 45 mins the equal of any of the best Thistle performances of the last 4 years including our promotion team, Archie was being lauded and I for one am so much more confident that we will still be up there in the top flight next season, so please will those who keep baying for Archies blood just shut the f**k up and get behind him and the team, they're doing a great job and deserve our support. Its entertaining and all we really need at the end of the day is decent refereeing and the wins will continue.

  6. I live in Stonehaven (15 miles south of Aberdeen ) and even I would be reluctant to attend a midweek game in the festive season so what chance do we have of getting a support to travel the the 140 miles or so returning home late at night, therefore the proposed switch makes so much sense , but then the numpties running our national sport don't have too much of that !!!

  7. I won't be going to this game so my seat in the north stand will be empty, didn't enjoy the first home game since our return against the east end mob and have no desire to be subjected their sectarian drivel again thank you very much

  8. Can we please shake off the negativity here !! Archie knows what he is doing, he is doing a fantastic job given the budget he has to work with, I believe that he will produce another entertaining season and that's the reason I have got my season ticket sorted out, give our Archie your support and if you can re-new your ST and perhaps the lovers of LT will have their idol back in the colours of the only team in Glasgow , lets hear it for the Jags !!!!

  9. Last night watching panorama with the Salazar drugs allegations and thinking about the corruption at FIFA made me wonder what the point in sport in general is to be honest.

As a Jags fan is all about masochism, as a H*n the "orange order" and as a tim the "IRA".................................hope that answers the question !!

  10. As much as I liked Fox at times I always felt safer with Gallacher. dunno if we really needed another keeper, would've been happy to stay with what we've got. Foxy wont get any better at Dross Cunty than he did here at Firhill, not surprised he's been overlooked for a Scotland call up again, he's not International standard and for his own sake he should get real with himself otherwise he'll live the rest of his life a disappointed man, wish him well just the same.
