  1. So every advantage was given to Ross County to survive in the playoff and retain there Premiership status.  The VAR decisions, lack of decisions. No explanation has been given why were not allowed to take the penalties in front of our own fans.....no coin flipped, no discussion.....then the camera catches Mcgregor and Doncaster sitting in the stand together.........anything not to lose Ross County, Mcgregors money and influence....let me know if i sound bitter.

  2. Partick Thistle Football Club statement

    Wednesday 7th December, 2022 at 3:45pm

With immediate effect, the club can confirm that seven directors of Partick Thistle FC have resigned. They are chairman Jacqui Low and fellow directors Andrew Byron, Alan Caldwell, Douglas Noble, John Penman, Michael Robertson and Alan Rough MBE – they have informed the PTFC Trust of their decision and the resignations have been accepted.

There will be no further comment by the club today. The full focus of the club’s CEO, staff, management team and players is on our home fixture against Ayr United a week on Saturday

  3. Actually thought that we played well first half, few chances, shot off the bar and good save, couple half flick ons, and few crosses. But overall not got enough, lacking shooting power, just relying on Brian Graham, Tiffony and Banigan trying to break up play in midfield. Just seemed to fizzle out, selling Rudden doesn't make sense, no ambition. If you are pushing for promotion, playoffs etc, strong squad. There has been very questionable decision at the club, alot of uncertainty. Ok deep breath and try and see what happens in the summer. Will we keep Tiffony? Will Graham have another season?

  4. This could be a total meltdown......we could actually throw this playoff position away. Raith have created alot of chances and should be a few more goals ahead. With us looking like a schoolgirl team and already trailing by two goals it could be a bad night.....I actually hope not, I hope we get the playoff....so we can fxck that up.

  5. Great to get the win, up to third with two games in hand, definitely going to have a say in what happens in this league title. Imagine if we had a decent pitch.....we really played some good stuff tonight, few passing movements and winning the headers, knock downs, holding up play and popping balls round the corner. But struggled with the control, the touch, bringing the ball under control. It could either be our secret weapon or it could be our downfall. Big credit to the team and I suppose the groundsman, hopefully the weather holds up until Tuesday night.

Game's like that make you question logic and what actually controls form. Basically we are a yo-yo team with a very long string. It doesn't matter who is playing or who is in the dugout...

We are destined to go lower before we come back. Might as well accept it. At least it means we get a bit more variety in terms of teams we play.

I have to disagree.... I don't think we are a yo yo team and I absolutely believe that it matters greatly who is playing or who is in the dug out.... That statement is utter balls... Doesn't matter. I think everyone might disagree. Do you not think it Could have just have been an off day, or caught cold by the conditions.

You are coming across like a big fan of the Gary Caldwells management style, and decision making over his time at Firhill. First you state he was never beaten at Arbroath and now reminding us all that we finished the dizzy heights of sixth.

  8. Well that was a disaster.... Well embarrassing. I don't see us getting out of this. Even McCall can't justify it, or excuse that performance. A disgrace to the shirt... I was actually looking over to see if Gary Caldwell was still in the dug out. The first half, our players touched the ball 23 times and only put together four consecutive passes. Really ******* embarrassing. I've been singing McCalls praise all week, impressed with the signing and thought today would be the start of our season. More like the end.

So does this very popular appointment keep the fans happy, set things up quite nicely, and allow the current owners to sell off their shares to the highest bidder and sail off into the sunset with a slightly clearer conscience?

    Too cynical? :head_ball:

I don't think McCall would have taken the appointment without serious reassures from the board about the future and any potential takeover.
