Just like to say a very sincere and humble thanks to my fellow 50/50 crew members for the surprise birthday cake, cards & gift. It makes me reaĺise all the more what a special club I belong too. Thanks also to Vivienne & Alan for their gift & a huge thank you to Phil ( Bowenboy) for standing in for me in my absence.
Last but not least thanks to all my customers who are always there with their hard earned cash & best wishes. Partick Thistle is a very special club with very special fans at the heart of it.

He said to the gathering throng around him " I don't know why you pay in to watch this shite " Get well soon John. LEGEND.Yes, get well soon and get something done at the ground while we still have him. I was one of many standing at the garscube road end when he was sent home after his mothers funeral cos he'd taken one too many. And the legend simply paid at the gate and watch from the terrance jumping and cheering when we scored. Can't remember the date, possibly v dungdee 2 or 3 nil, or was it hearts. (isn't old age an absolute bummer). Anyway he had a half bottle and an absolute ball. Get back as soon as you can Lambini

Spot on all the above.

Sure Alan found it, would have to ask him.

Regarding the Greaves flag last I heard was that it's in the groundsman's shed. It hasn't been used because Greaves ended their sponsorship with us.

Normally I take down the Jordanhill banner after every game due to it being displayed at away games but I decided to leave it due to us playing them again a few days later. Moronic display by some of their fans stealing these.

Really sad news, true legend at our club.

I try and encourage the Celtic fans to purchase our 50's raffle tickets L-I-B so for that reason alone we have to have the draw on the night.

Totally agree that what we witnessed at the end of the game in my opinion was " anti -football " disgusting to watch & a disgrace to the game. P.S. Thanks for the tips Mr Wright. Both Booth and Osman looked far more composed tonight. Nisbet wasn't as isolated and interchanged well with Lawless and in particular, Erskine. Edwards energy helped greatly and scored an absolute cracker. Team in general were good bit more positive.
Sadly it's got to be said we indulged in some blatant time wasting tonight, coupled with more than just sporadic episodes of gamesmanship. If I had the slightest inkling we were going to disgrace ourselves in such a flagrant way I'd have done a 360° at the Broxden Roundabout and pissed off home to watch the athletics.

Played his heart out tonight, boy was dead on his feet at the end of the game. Had a hand in all the goals and did not look out of place in the team.
Can't help but feel that he beneffited enormously from going into this game knowing what the game plan was & how he had to execute his role in it, as opposed to being thrown into it on Saturday against Hibs. Played brilliant Kevin keep it up.
