  1. I know someone else has already said on the forum this evening that if we mention the Top Six we jinx it. I think we should ban it totally and just play one game at a time and see where we end up. I'd go as far as saying that the Admin guys should delete it's usage whenever it pops up but that's probably a lot of work to do. Let's keep praising the team and their efforts, let's get behind them and who knows we might end up higher than 7th.

  2. I'm counting 12 Scottish internationalists in that game!

This is so sad but if you look at the Scotland Epistles website and go to the pen pics pages you will find Scotland history / profiles I have done on Brownlie, Cropley, Stanton and an Arthur Duncan one is on the opening page. Sadly I haven't got round to the Thistle players mentioned but there is a Johnny McKenzie one in there too.

  3. First of all can I say congratulations to Jaggernaut; a whole year of great pictures have come and gone on this thread and although sometimes it's been frustrating as hell trying to recall players who played half a game for the Jags at one point. A big thank you from us all I'm sure.

Not sure if this has posted before or not but crikey who can remember all of these.

  4. So there I was without the usual Saturday Night plan which normally comes in two forms; the first I scramble down to Maryhill Road to get a bus, to get a train, to get a boat to Rothesay-O and home to House 2 at 8pm and the second into the Star & Garter have a few pints, get up the road, get my tea from the chippy and home.

Yesterday was supposed be plan 2 but alas it was not to be. So instead it was a few drinks in the house with the wife and a take away for the evening. So there we were, we decided to have an Indian Meal and I was going to order it on Just Eat. It then struck me; is Just Eat on the Easyfundraising thingy? A quick look and I saw it was and then a couple of clicks of the mouse and I was ordering my Indian meal. Total cost was £18.45, which was quite reasonable and then a few hours later my money for the Jags was forwarded. It was only 25p but you know what it all adds up. If a hundred Jags fan were to sign up for Easyfundraising and ordered one meal a month that would be £25.00 between them. Over a year that becomes . . . eh, a lot. Actually it's £300.

Okay, we all become fat but the Jags earn a few bob or two which given our debt free status goes solely to the club. Alternatively, Hungry House is also on there.

We have been stuck on 117 fundraisers for the last few months so why not click on the link below or check out the regular updates from Fawlty Towers and see where else you can spend your dosh and get money for the Jags.

  5. Think everyone would agree that Dross have had a very good start to the season, but if we win our game in hand we will be ONE point behind them! Some turn round by the players and management team!

Yeah they've went off the boil since Scott Fox was injured! Coincidence or what?
  6. The 1980's was a poor period for the Jags but for me one guy stood head and shoulders above all the rest. Even in the darkest days, Kenny Watson would nearly always provide a sublime piece of football. He was very much like David Rowson a few years back; a player who deserved a better team around him.
