Where is the problem? Greaves sports, Puma, PTFC, or others?
I'd happy if PTFC change the retailer from Greaves to JJB or any other company, since Greaves Sports do not ship to Japan.
JJB have gone into administration apparently. I'd be happy with greaves maintaining the current set up but they need to get back to the standards they had at the start. Red n yella leisure wear, a good selection too, plus a bit more money to the club (i think greaves have done pretty well out of their associaton with us)...and I'd be happy.

Clachnacuddin away would be fabby. Or Rangers (not to be mistook for Sevco Rovers). Or Any other highland league team.

Why change a defence that had been solid? It had conceded 1 goal in 4 games - from a set-piece. I'm not saying Sinclair's entirely to blame(though he certainly cost us a goal today) but why change something so solid? We could have played Craigen rather than shoving a player into an unfamiliar role.
I think the majority of us would see the switch of bannigan into midfield and Sinclair to left back as the best option to replace Welsh. Forbes is still short of fitness.

Don't care, would sacrifice hearts Aberdeen and tv money to get shot of the old old firm.

0 mins: Raith Rovers kick the game off. Thistle will be shooting towards the away end in the first half.
According to this we were. Time will tell.
That clearly says we were shooting towards our own fans first half...we were the away team.
-
Think we were shooting towards the Jags fans 2nd half. Looking forward to seeing the troops go mental at our last gasp equaliser!
Don't think we were.

Better to be lucky than good.
So being both would be?
League champions material

Every time I see that footage of him it looks to me like he's saying "I never called you a black c**t!". The panel could of course have had more evidence than that...and he is a fud of the highest order, so they have probably got it correct. Balance of probability and all that

top 4 in the first get a by
2nd, 3rd and 4th from last season plus Dunfermline? Did we finish 5th last season? I'd expect the 5th placed team to get Dundee's slot.

Can't remember my first game but am told it was a reward for learning to walk, so that would have been season 79/80. First game I remember was when I was mascot against Ayr Utd in 1983. We won, 3-1 I think and had a possibly unfair dislike of Kenny Watson ever since coz he wouldn't let MoJo take me onto the pitch weans eh.

Wisnae allowed to go to games against the ugly sisters unless my dad took me. He was working but me and a mate decided to go on the train fae drumchapel without him knowing. 14 years old wi the exact money in my pocket for the train and getting in. Train heaving wi tims giving me and my mate pelters, no clicky came but they were mob handed at belgrove. Tims trying every trick in the book to avoid payment, we bought a return and didn't realise til later that the clickies took the return tickets and left us wi the drumchapel to belgrove wans.
The game was immense, I just missed catching Geordie Shaws top (was too wee ) then party time. Drumchapel bus let us on for nothing, seen ma uncle and we did a wee jig. Then the big tube telt ma da that he'd seen me. In trouble much but didny give a shit...even ended up drunk that night, and seen a couple of tims that had been giving it large on the train.
Still my best day ever following the Jags.

Get yourself in the North stand, you can stand for 90 minutes!
What if he goes to the game wi a wean or 4?
-
My heart was in my mouth when you missed your penalty!
the ugly buggers behind the goal put me off.

Like the one in the pub that said they could do the quadruple.
Now we must be favourites, we have always played best as the underdog, but anyone of the 3 remaining - at home would do.
Durrant said that in the press today , but he also said he expected a full house
Incidentally, couldny gie a monkeys about losing out on a potential payday, the laughter tonight, and the sevco rovers fans being clamped makes it a cheap price to pay

A few things I noticed that gave particular indications of how much of a 'team'we are. Big Muirhead ran almost the length of the pitch to celebrate the goals, everyone got involved in said celebrations, Paton giving Fox big time congrats on his save and the work that goes into creating space for each other. Fantastic.
As for the dumplin sat next to me on Saturday who was groaning when we played it across the back 4 and built from the back (you know who you are ). That's how you create space, draw the opposition out rather than charge forward into a condensed final third.
It's been a joy to watch this team, and I have a feeling we've yet to see the best of them.
-
Anyone at home but would rather save Sevco Rovers for the final. Hampden would be a sell-out, we would take about 6/8000, have a great day out, get a big payday and might even win...see that, keeping my feet on the ground a bit there

Season Ticket holders first in line, i trust
Then I'm defo hoping they have the half season tickets on the go again this season. Already planned to get one anyway but this makes it even more important. Doesn't matter anyway, IF we're to win the league this year it'll be done at New Broomfield

So what you are saying, is that us wearing the away kit, a common colour in football... Is causing opposition teams to wear their less used away kit.
Leading to their players not knowing which players to pass to? Thistle players wearing their teams colours... Or players, in colours they don't recognise?
A plan so cunning, only the countess of cunning, she who holds a degree in cunning, could come up with!
Eh...naw, just saying they all lost while wearing their away kit, thus throwing some doubt on Tommy's theory. All very tongue on cheekly you understand
Your depth of thinking is quite impressive tho big chap

Heard a couple of good ones recently. Stevie, Stevie-Stevie, Stevie-Stevie, Stevie Stevie Lawless. (No Limits tune)
Rave On...Stevie Lawless! Rave On...Stevie Lawless! (reigniting an old classic).

I'm away for the weekend and gutted to be missing my first league game of the season . I'd agree, about 2500, but would still keep us well ahead of last seasons average attendance for the 4 games so far.

Pie stall was pretty well organized. I nipped down at half time and there seemed plenty available for half time. My sickly bashed steak number was swapped for an acceptable one no problem.
I walked away in a huff 5 mins before kickoff after waiting 15 minutes in a queue that hardly moved, only for one of the workers to say they had no
Pies (they just weren't ready yet) but had hotdogs and pizza. Prices where shocking too.
-
Because recent research shows that teams that wear their away kit win all their games :-)
Except when they're up against the Jags . Falkirk, Raith, livi and Clyde all lost while they wore their away strip.
-
Jackie said himself that superstition is not the reason we are playing in the away kit. Win, lose or draw between now and then, I want to see us in our colours as soon as the strips are available. As for 'surely all that matters is winning'. Well duh, but are you saying the strip we wear has a direct impact on whether we win or not? Sorry, I don't believe that to be true at all.
-
Yeah, that's what I meant.
As for the being impressed with Livi comment, I agree. However they reminded me a bit like us in previous couple of seasons in sense of nice pretty patterns and keeping ball on deck but powderpuff in last 3rd!
I said the exact same thing to someone today, wasn't you was it?
Raith Rovers V Partick Thistle
