I don't think that makes him a 'proven liar' - people are allowed to change their minds about things.

All other Colts teams losing at the moment...
-
Really need to sign another CB.

Can't believe we haven't signed anyone yet - get your finger out Archie
Can't believe we haven't signed a new striker yet - get your finger out Archie

I think we need to calm down a bit.
Nobody we've lost (defensively) is irreplaceable and there's plenty of time to get in new players before the season starts in 2 months.
-
I know. I'm just feeling down thinking about what might have been. I should be grateful that we are down here scraping wins against the worst of them.
Yes, you should be.
-
Archie did an unbelievable job over the 2nd and 3rd quarters of the season to keep us safe after a difficult start, and we missed top 6 by a bawhair.
We should be celebrating staying up and looking ahead, not moaning about our shortcomings.

We're crying out for a player in the Erskine mould.

We're about as likely to finish 11th as Hearts are to win the league.
-
So with a possible 15 points to drop how are we safe?
Because the teams below us won't all reach 41 points.
-
How many games are left?
There are 5 games left.
-
2 wins out of five needed to avoid the playoff spot
We don't need 47 points. We're safe.
-
Not quite yet though, are we?
Yes.
-
Aye, but there's only 5 games to go because of the system.
-
Maybe, but from a football perspective it means f all.
It means we can't be relegated and it means we could qualify for Europe.

I'm not sure that I follow your logic. If they had won on Tuesday, we would be ahead of Dundee and would not need to rely on any other results today.
Didn't explain it brilliantly - I mean in terms of today's games. Them beating Dundee would clearly have suited us too.
If they beat Motherwell we won't have to rely on other results either...

Here we go then for the annual nationwide w*nk-a-thon over whether your team is 6th or 7th in the League. Whit a nonsense. Brutally, 3 of the 6 sides battling for that potential 4th Euro slot are about to have the trap-door shut on them, for convoluted reasons which are now hazy in the mists of time. They could win 5 of their next 6 games and it'd all be in vain. Don't even get me started on the lack of sporting integrity with the 5 fixtures which will follow this month and next. The whole thing continues to stink out the place like an eggy fart in a Mini. The sooner this farcical oasis of nothingness is consigned to history - in the great Joke Book of ill-advised Scottish football arrangements - the better. And let's get rid of that Cockwomble prat while we're at it. Despite the stench, if we confirm our Top 6 place by 4.45pm I'll be delighted - mainly because we can continue to reach for our European dream. If we don't I'll be raging - mainly because we cannot continue to reach for our European dream. For many reasons, this has been a season where we can sing "proud to be a Jags fan" louder than ever, with an unwavering moral conviction. Whatever happens today, Scottish football's stupid Premier League set-up won't change that. Enjoy the game! COYJ FTOF OTIG OMIW
Haha. I like the split.

With Aberdeen chucking it tonight the pressure on Glasgow C. is lessened so I suspect they will similarly drop points (possibly a draw) tomorrow against Motherwell - thus I fear our battle will be to better Dundee or St Johnstone's result.
I think Celtic's draw in their last game is in our favour - they rarely drop points twice in a row and will want to improve.
-
Has anyone ever seen Edwards and Jack Sparrow in the same room btw?
Yeah, me.

I liked Craigen as an option in Division 1 and for his goal vs Morton but he didn't add anything special for us in the SPL. He's a reasonable player but wouldn't be the answer to Welsh's poor form - he couldn't command a regular start in a poorer Thistle squad and we can only have so many central midfielders on the books. Rose-tinted specs happening on this thread - he's just not that great.
-
No Rooney or McGinn can only be good news. We can get something here.
-
We wouldn't. We didn't. United are a scumbag club. Always have been.
Stop being daft.

That's convenient for them, considering they have their Cup replay on Tuesday and had played a game on Weds.......
Clearly this is the work of the Illuminati.

Watched bits of it - Scotland had loads of chances. Macedonia didn't deserve a draw, let alone a win. That's football.
