Pleased to announce the arrival of a new jag to join the ranks of the Firhill faithful. Born last night to his Danish dad and Scottish mum, wee Nikolaj will have the tough choice of picking a national team, but the easy choice of supporting the jags along with the rest of his family. In fact, he is fourth generation of his Thistle supporting family!
Can't wait to take him to Firhill!

People are political beings whether they are aware of it or not. What we express and how we express it have and always will be shaped by society around us and politics is an integral part of that. Firhill is not a bubble from the real world, no matter how much some people would like it to be.

On the face of it, this really seems to add nothing of value to the senior game. Strange decision.
Question should be put to the juniors why they didnt apply and allowed a team like BSC to succeed in getting in. Fair play to BSC for showing more ambition and courage than the lot of the juniors put together. Time to leave the dinosaurs behind.

Our old "feeder" club Broomhill Sports Club has been admitted to the Lowland League. Good luck to them! I'll keep an eye out for my new local team. Might even go along to a few games as long as they don't collide with Thistle.
