  1. Before all the negativity kicks in i can just remind EVERYONE , even The Cup....................we're doing ok, we have (and always have had) the greatest team on earth, robbed of 2 points again but still some progress......................we can compete at the lower end just now which is a million times better than winning the lower leagues and give a few years of stability maybe just maybe we'll get into europe one day so we all go to iceland in August! kerry katona lives there I'm told

    ok, thanks.

  2. Anyone see that thing East Fife are doing? Fans contributing 100k to construct a new club shop, cafe bar and a 750 seat stand.

I could think of worse uses for the bing, and the club shop is toatie. Although 100k seems surprisingly small for the combined cost of all three.

ETA: this is what fans get for their investment. I don't think we've been very proactive as a fanbase when it comes to fundraising since save the jags. Unless I've forgotten an obvious example, obviously.

PLEDGE £1000+ 1 Ordinary Share in East Fife FC Limited + East Fife football top signed by a player + 4 match hospitality tickets for a home match + A season ticket for the 2014/15 season

In addition, the first 10 people to pledge £250 or more will have the opportunity to meet the players before a match, enjoy pre-match refreshments, and watch the game from the comfort of the Directors Box.

There are limited numbers of each reward available and match ticket and hospitality rewards are subject to availability.

The Ordinary Share gifted to those who pledge money to the funding projects will entitle the shareholder to attend and vote at the club’s Annual General Meeting. The share should not be viewed as a tangible investment either in terms of its resale value or the entitlement of the shareholder to receive dividends.

  3. That's perhaps a slight exaggeration but far more to the point than those who feel we're weak in just one particular area. We play the game within our budget. So I've got a feeling that any strengthening of the squad will be more down to who we can bring in that's value for money rather than filling one priority position. If however we were to lose Taylor-Sinclair in January then filling his position would be of utmost priority. That would imo be the only real exception. Otherwise the one player we can afford to bring in could be to fill in any number of positions

We don't need starters everywhere, but we need at least cover. The bench today, threadbare outwith Lawless.

  4. Here we go, making up statements that if said often enough then become true.

"chose to ignore (or somehow didn't see) a blatantant handball on Saturday."

Clearly he did see it and did not ignore it. He saw the hand ball but ruled it was ball to hand and not deliberate hand ball hence play on. He reiterated this with the action he made to Bannigan when he was protesting. But easily the worst refereeing performance this season.

    Ok, thanks.

  5. i love aberdeen f.c. coz they hate the currant buns. They sing 'we hate rangers more than you!' when they play celtic. i hate the local populace tho, coz u get that inferiority complex u get everywhere, when u go further north and further east of falkirk. As soon as u try to speak to wan n they hear the glasgow accent (or glesgae accordin to them in their rabbie burns doric squirrel hunting language), they go from being very amiable to a look of disgust similar to it would be if u had put a tramp's lovesnake in their hand. i'm driving up so i dont get the jail for crossin the road in a public place/indecently or whatever the Balamory police make up. Jail u for nothin. If anyone needs a run up fae the fife area gie me a shout

    Ok, thanks.

  6. In a funny way I'm kinda glad you said that Tom. When the club announced the 50th I had 49. At least I've kept up with the last 9.

Come oan then, pit me oot ma misery

  7. Haven't been told to move out of my seat, but at this rate, I'll be forced to sit on my tod or pay 25 quid extra. The money doesn't bother me, I don't like being conned and treated like a mug though. The club will be grovelling up my arse though to renew my season ticket the next time we're in the 1st division. They did that year after year when I had to chuck my season ticket the last time by sending me constant letters and e-mails.

  8. It's unworkable because who's to say there aren't a whole number of people who would like to bring a friend to this game and would want to change their seating arrangements. Do they just rip up the season ticket allocation for this game and make it a free for all?? That would go down well.

Why should I have to pay extra to sit next to my dad?
