How does bringing on defensive midfielder Bannigan increase the likelihood of us scoring?

According to the BBC, it is 4-1-3-2, with McBeth the 1. Who knows.

Why do we persist in starting games at 3.00pm? It's a legacy from times when many worked until Saturday lunchtime, but these days are long gone.
Starting earlier would save clubs money, and may reduce bad behaviour from reducing available pub time.

Really. What do they do?

Watching the training video on facebook, both Graham and Robinson are involved, hopefully means both are fit for tomorrow.
They train!

Maybe someone should risk start a Livingston thread to give us all closure on this one!

What were you in about then?
What I was suggesting was this. That if people blocked certain posters, those posters would become frustrated at receiving no responses, and would stop posting.
Hope this helps.

There's an ignore function.
Click three dots bottom of screen.
Next select account settings.
Scroll down and select ignored users.
Then type in name of user you want to ignore.
I know - I use it.

I'm becoming fed up with this website. Why can't people simply exclude posts appearing on their screen from others they think are spoiling the site.

No, I am saying he can’t force players to come to the club.
That's true, but others are saying that prospective signings will look around the Club and see how it's run and who their rivals would be. What they perhaps see is a manager too focussed on one player and the team to some extent built round him. That would be off-putting for some would be recruits.

Anyone know when Mitchell is likely to be fit as I think we need him?
Roberts is great shotstopper and also really good at crosses but his distribution is eye bleeding to watch. You could see and hear Turner shouting at him to get the ball back in play faster and every time he goes long it takes the pace out the game.
Maybe his distribution is adversely affected by the midfield not taking up useful positions, and/or the frequent changing of the defence/midfield formations.

If the Club decides to change managers at some point, please let the new one not be another "club legend". I would prefer someone from outwith Scotland or even the UK to give a completely different approach.

How much are we losing by this decision, and do the advertisers have contracts that might cost the Club by ending them prematurely?

Just met up with a friend who's a Reading supporter, and he informs me that as a result of the trials and tribulations the supporters have suffered through Club ownership issues, they are now being offered formal counselling.
Maybe a lesson for Partick Thistle.

Following it on the BBC website, and was more than half expecting a late Dunfermline goal. A win's a win however irrespective of how it was achieved, and good sized crowd as well.

Hopefully we won't have the same selection problems as Morton
Footballer Jay Emmanuel-Thomas in court after £600,000 of cannabis seized at UK airport - BBC News
He has been sacked before being found guilty. If found not guilty or the charge not proven, then maybe he has a claim against Morton for unfair dismissal. If so, Morton may have more than selection problems.

I was not at the game (thankfully deciding against a 150 mile round trip), so I cannot comment on it.
However it would appear that adding further to the already bloated squad as rumoured may not be the answer to our prayers (it's Sunday morning after all). Unfortunately the problem seems to lie in getting the best out of the squad and individual players.
Doolan is a young, inexperienced manager and I'm sure would benefit from some help. And so I wonder if the Club could use the services of a retired, experienced manager on a week by week basis to advise Doolan. This is common practice elsewhere - for example a chairperson helping and advising a CEO. That would probably be a less costly option and I'm sure would be more effective than the next least cost option.
Maybe Doolan is overthinking his tactics and simply needs some wise words of advice.

Aye, and there's the rub.

Colin Weir must be turning in his grave. Where has all that money gone?

Why not select the team in the same way that Manchester United select boys to sign for the Club: make them run from one end of the pitch to the other and select the fastest ones. That would get rid of a few of the laggards.

So 5 grand loss.

Does anyone know how much money Alloa won today? (ignoring any further wins in the comp.)

I think Doolan needs to be given a bit more time - drawing with the league leaders is not a sackable offence.
However if push comes to shove in the future - and I hope it doesn't - then the last thing we need is another "club legend" manager. The Club's history is littered with them.
