  1. Actually, she wanted to start the clapping again, but got a torrent of abuse online, so she backed away from it. Carers and NHS workers would seem to prefer that we wear masks and limit social interactions as a show of appreciation for the great work they do.

The triple axis asking for every Premiership club to donate 5k each to their costs. Also want 2k from Championship clubs, 1k from League 1 and League 2 clubs.Couldn't give them a red neck with a blow torch.

If any club says yes then I have some magic beans they can procure for a very reasonable sum.

  3. Hell mend Dundee Utd, Cove and Raith if they end up with a big bill, they should never have had separate representation from the SPFL. No way would we have gotten arbitration in this timescale without the court action, or access to all the documents the SPFL wanted hidden. Just because the documents aren't going to be made public doesn't mean they won't strengthen our case.

    More than 50 years?

True, but lots of very mature looking trees in the terracing. Were they deliberately planted? Work to improve the ground seemed to have stopped prior to lockdown, but there is still stuff there that would indicate this might resume in the future.

I love running around it as part of my regular route.

I think you have underestimated the cost of playing a match. Firstly there is the cost of the additional players that we would need to sign. The cost of restarting training. The cost of virus testing for players and officials. The cost of players appearance and win bonuses.

I have no idea of the exact amounts but testing is estimated to be over £100k for English clubs to complete this season. I suspect that the cost of putting on a match is more than the match day revenue, something the banks don’t like to see

With a 14 team league, could we blood more young players already on the books?

Win bonuses, I like your optimism :D

Ok, take a look at these.

Have simplified option1. I'm an amateur at this and it's hard to create something that looks good with the crossing out thing.

Have reduced the size of the club logo in option 2

For what it's worth, I'm in favour of Option 2.  I think that Option 1 is very pertinent right now. By the time we can actually go out in public wearing it, it will be a symbol of dark times that we would rather put behind us. Option 2 is also linked to today but that fact is much less prominent.

That's one opinion but I need your views. I need to know if this is viable at all and if so, which one will sell.

Could you do option 2 with Red & Yellow Family, all in the font of option 2?

Maybe harsh on Austin but I thought he’s been fit for ages now and is hardly getting a sniff? See how he does until the end of the season but I don’t have high hopes.

First game back was in the Glasgow Cup v Celtic Colts on 17 Dec. not long after getting here from Australia. Working his way back to match fitness and becoming familiar with his teammates I'd have thought. Played as a sub on Saturday. Would at least like to see if he might have anything before he is written off and would expect to see some more of him over the next few games.

    We will see ...........

Go look at Dr Marie Macklins twitter account

According to Companies House Jacqui Low is still a director of Three Black Cats, the new owners. However, since she has not yet been named as part of the interim board then hopefully she will get nowhere near the running of the club or the PR.

If she is the yet to be named member of the interim board then that would immediately toilet much of the goodwill surrounding the announcement, given how unpopular and divisive she was as Chair.

Sorry but looking back with rose tinted glasses at players who are way past their best is not the answer.

I love Doolan and Erksine and feel they should have been kept on as squad players, if they would have accepted that, but they were part of gutless looking teams for two straight seasons.

now) saying, Lennon is favourite with McCall and Duffy in the frame. Beattie has been quoted as saying that if Archibald wants to come back he would take him. And that he should never have been sacked?? Oh dear!

Is it not Charnley that is being quoted there?

Agree with you that Archie is head and shoulders above Caldwell. But I think that Archie has had his time as Thistle manager. Best for him to go and see how he does at another club. We will probably be looking for another manager soon.

Yup, even Archie has acknowledged that his time was up and that he should have left after the top 6 season. If he managed elsewhere and showed he had developed as a manager then I would take him back, but then I have grown up with him almost always being around the club.

We beat St. Mirren 5-0  live on BT Sports in the league cup the year we went down, so no, it’s not correct! That said it does not detract from the fact that our record on live TV is bloody horrific !

That is true. Although neither the bookie who stated it nor the table above state it, this refers to league games only (including the play-offs). There have been cup games we have won that were on TV.
