  1. From Wikipedia

"In 2000, Lampard, Rio Ferdinand and Kieron Dyer appeared on a sex video that was filmed at the holiday resort of Ayia Napa in Cyprus.

Channel 4 aired a brief clip as part of their 2004 documentary Sex, Footballers and Videotape, claiming it was used to "remind the viewer that this is based on real life."

On 23 September 2001, Lampard, along with three other Chelsea players was fined two weeks wages by the club for his behaviour whilst on a drinking binge on 12 September. Lampard and the others had abused American tourists at a Heathrow hotel, just 24 hours after the 11 September attacks. A hotel manager stated "they were utterly disgusting. They just didn't seem to care about what had happened"."

  2. I’m very interested in such a scheme and I’d be willing to commit the price of an adult season ticket.

Falkirk’s Premium Yearly package is 119 quid, and I presume Thistle would struggle to get something similar off the ground unless they had solid commitment from fans.

I plan on getting in touch with “The Nomads” to see what can be arranged with gathering expressions of interest. Please PM me if you are interested and I’ll try to co-ordinate a list.

    Shuggie – check your PMs.

    Cheers.

Having spoken to a Morton and Falkirk fan about Albion, I knew how they were going to set-up today. Yet McCall with his army of staff couldn't figure it out. They were always going to play with one out and out frontman, so we respond by putting three at the back, leaving us a man short in midfield! Took him a full 45 mins to realise that and change it...and he took the wrong man in Balatoni off!

How much effort really goes into analysis of league opposition?

Where there isn't scope for a scout at each game, it's a manager's job to have other sources of reliable info.

I read a depressing piece of analysis on here a few weeks ago by somebody called Uberteeb. There was enough sarcastic humour to indicate a fan had written it, but overall it was an effectively communicated summary of the current Thistle team's failings.

To successfully manage a football team at this level, you need to have reliable and up-to-date sources of information of what you are up against and be effective in your ability to introduce change into your environment – on or off the park. Has McCall demonstrated this during his tenure? Serious question.
