If Alloa avoid defeat Tuesday night we're bottom two.
The fans need to raise their expectations of the club. Part of the reason we're in a mess is the fans tolerate too much shite. I'd only give Caldwell one window, because what I see is the same insipid crap as under Archie, but he like many players will get far too much time, and it might cost us as it has done before.

I don't buy Keown and McGinty either. They can't deal with low crosses at all, distribution is crap as well. Them along with Elliott is a relegation defence.

I don't think we can wait until January to find a right back. Beyond the fact that Elliot is a real weakness in that area what happens if he gets injured?
Surely there must be an unsigned right back or someone we could get in on a loan now?
Paul Caddis doesn't have a club at the moment. I'd be doing everything possible to get a player like that in, even short term.

I'm not surprised the support was quiet. The game started flat and remained so.

Same old same old. Starting line up just an Archie team playing Archie tactics. A tad worrying, this is supposed to be a manager who has analysed the team and given his analysis of how they could be bettered and yet what did he change? Nothing! I was hoping at least for a different post match discussion as well, perhaps even an admission that he’d picked the wrong starting lineup, but no, nothing. Just the same old managerial speak, sound and fury meaning nothing. Not a good start, 3/10...and that’s just for the introduction of Coulibaly.
Totally agree, the similar team selection and tactics reeked of Archie. Right down to the Jagzone interview of Caldwell who thought we played well. I've not spoken to one person at the game today nor read anyone online who shares this view.

Caldwell's jagzone interview sounds like Archie ffs.

Utter pish.
This has the 2004/5 season written all over it. Never laid a finger on a bunch of winless part-timers.
-
Its a done deal I'm told. Brian Kerr is the assistant. No idea about the contract or that.
-
Slater reminds me of Donnelly. Tidy on the ball but slows everything down, loves the Sid dribble round in a circle routine which by then the opposition have all their men back.
-
We only started to play after Quitongo came on and United had taken their foot off the gas. Next week will be another slog against a diddy team on a shite pitch.
-
What a shitehouse of a squad Dick Archibald has built.
-
Quite like Danny Lennon, but also feel he kinda has to reinvent himself at Clyde after leaving St. Mirren with a whimper and a shitty spell at Alloa. Although you could pick faults in just about any candidate really.

Theres 5 bonafide first team players in there. How often does that happen in a reserve game? We've been going into these games often with teams full of kids and barely even a sub or two.
-
Melbourne played as well. As did McCarthy.
-
Whats also embarrassing is we actually sent out a strong reserve team for once with multiple first team players and we got horsed by a team of kids. Strengf in depf!

Lol bunch of jobbers

as long as its not Yogi Hughes or Jim Duffy
Thats the problem though, we waited far too long to get rid of Archie, we're now a lower half championship team and thats the calibre of replacements we're now looking at as a result.
-
Wee diddy Alloa saving their first win for the Jags.
-
The odd win at home is keeping his job.
We don't see the bigger picture. Shitebag of a club.
-
Someone tell me why a championship club needs three goalkeepers in the first team yet only one right back?
-
Storer is pish. Can see how he's bounced around pub teams on loan and never got a sniff of the first team at Birmingham.
-
We had as many players aged 30 or over starting as we did under 20. Hardly that young a team, and in any event it was the current worst team in the league below, for ****'s sake! A bunch of part time diddies.

He didn't get lumps kicked out of him today.
Why are people that were then posting about him hobbling about after being clattered then and being kept on in a meaningless game?

Premature sure, but he needs to be under pressure right away. Nothing has changed and the fans are far too lenient with continual shite from management and players, as has shown in recent times.
