  1. Was talking to George at the game on saturday,he was buzzing about how this could be our season for doing something.I once walked into a gig he was playing and he stopped halfway through a song to ask me what the Thistle score was that day.A great guy who will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.RIP George.

  2. Why doesn't someone out that clown. I think the bulk of us who have posted on these forums for years are well aware of who he is.

For the avoidance of doubt, I was previosuly known as honkhonk.

Gus should not have been thrown out at Perth. Its the same steward everytime.

I complained to the coppers on the way out the ground, the answer they gave me was the club state the rules of crowd control they only enforce them.Bullshit if you ask me,anyway going by most fans of everyother club st johnstones stewarding is the worst so why not hit these a.......s were it hurts by staying away from these shite awayday fixtures.maybe they'll soon realise to not shit on the people who pay their wages...GET UP STAND UP.

  3. bus is already booked, just a minibus.I was hoping to have a bit more time to get some interest for getting a bigger bus.Afraid its already booked.Would still be interesting to see how many punters would be up for an EK bus for future games.

  4. League reconstruction is a bit pie in the sky with the OF/TV needing 4 'big games'.

What is not pie in the sky is making it 2 up and 2 down from the SPL. It's ridiculous that they don't re-introduce this. There are loads of teams of similar size spread throughout the SPL and the 1st, the only teams that wouldn't cut it would be Cowdenbeath and Stirling, everyone else has everything in place to bring as much to the SPL as the likes of Hamilton, ICT, St J, St Midden and even the likes of Motherwell and Killie.

And if anything 2 up and 2 down gives a bit of safety to the 'bigger' SPL clubs who occasionally flirt with relegation in the sense that they will have a decent chance of bouncing back up.

    couldn't agree more.

  5. Good photie. I wonder what it'd take to lure them back to Firhill.

drugs maybe, only kidding. I'm the guy bent over,I still go to a good few games but most of the people in the photo dont bother. There are atleast two people in that picture who couldn't last a full 90mins watching thistle without a fag.I think seated stadia takes away the buzz of going to the game in large groups . All the people still love thistle but the matchday experience just doesn't seem good enough for most to bother about.

  6. I enjoy going to the away games as there is usually a better atmosphere created from our fans.I also like getting to see other parts of the country, getting a good drink on the train and generally making a day of it. I couldn't care less if the grounds I visit are shitholes. They belong to other clubs, so it doesn't depress me if they are falling to pieces. I just can't stand seeing Firhill, our once proud stadium in the state that it is currently in.

    Do you understand?

    Spot on mate.
