Get a life outside of your keyboard you closet weirdoYou really should make sure you spell words correctly if you're going to highlight them in CAPITAL LETTERS.
But sorry, I missed the altruism in your opening post. I didn't realise you were attempting to illustrate the plight of our underpaid stars. It was probably the bit about "monkeys" that threw me.
-
Thanks for the support drama queenNo. They've been spelled out elsewhere in the thread.
-
Do I need tooYou really can't think of even a third, fourth, fifth reason why the contract is only till January?
-
Is your opinion relevantI think that's utter hoop on both counts.
-
True but we didn't want to pay him his worthIf there's money for a dud like McFadden then there should be money for Taylor.
Taylor is a superior player to Doolan and Ecceston (so far).
-
JaggyMad may want to know where you get your info, because of course he knows it all like no one else, king of claptrapAll of the players that signed deals after our promotion would have been offered the same terms, I would imagine. Banzo, Muirhead, Balatoni, Welsh, Fox, Doolan + whoever else I've forgotten.
McMillan is on £700pw I heard, just for an example. Do our players not get appearance, win/draw bonuses too?
-
And he's that good we would let him come on his terms, reallyIt's more likely that the player or his agent, who got him trials at English Championship clubs, did not want to commit to a longer contract.
Btw, it's Stevenson who would give you a Rocket for spelling his name wrong.
-
Well obviously he wanted more than £500 a week so I don't think he would be that bothered about keeping the fans happyBecause he enjoyed playing for the club and its fans?
It would certainly be more fun sitting in the stands or playing in the stiffs at Scunthorpe.
-
The length of contract shows either.
1 The board has very little faith in Archie's signings after Stephenson, Gabby and Baird.
2 Archie is unsure of the player and has really just taken him on on an extended trial for probably no wages.
-
Can anyone give one good reason in a million years why Lyle Taylor would ever come back to this club......what an odd crowd
-
Out of curiosity Jaggymad what wages would you put Craigen, Elliott, Muirhead, Fox, McDaid, Keen and Lawless, you obviously will tell us to the penny I hope
-
I believe the lower played players can virtually double there wages with win bonus, obviously based on that the club save a lot of moneyThat leaves around £900K in bonuses and staff wages
-
You actually believe what is in front of you, with regards the info that is actually there, unlike other fools, don't think I need to name the 3 I'm talking aboutI really hope your post is a typo!
-
Why do they have to be out of contract to ask the questionThe only players who are out of contract in the summer that that might apply to are:
Balatoni
Craigan
Elliott
Fox
Lawless
McMillan
Muirhead
O'Donnell
Osman
Richards-Everton
Welsh
-
Maybe put Stevenson on £1500, Higgy on £1200, Welch on £1000, the rest there or there abouts, thanks for doing the hardwork Potty Trained, a little more believable when it's in black and white in front of your eyes.A lot of guess work, but...
Goalkeepers
Fox £500
Gallacher £500
Waters £250
Basalaj £250
Scully £250
Defenders
O'Donnell £500
Seaborne £750
Muirhead £500
Balatoni £500
McMillan £500
Lindsay £250
Everton £500
Midfielders
Welsh £500
Bannigan £750
Stevenson £1000
Lawless £500
Osman £750
Fraser £1000
Wilson £250
Black £250
Gallacher £250
Keenan £250
McDaid £250
Colina £250
Forwards
Craigen £500
Doolan £750
Elliott £500
Higginbotham £1000
Eccleston £750
Leyden £250
Is about £15000 a week basic wages. Is £780000 on player basic wages over a year. Is an average wage of £26896 a year for 29 players. I've included Scully and Everton but not Carroll.
In my original post I got my years wrong and added an extra year in. gibberish and Will might not be that far out.
When we won the first, McNamara basically all but told the press the average wage was £250. Beattie told us at the start of last season the wage budget would double. Archie renewed a lot of contracts, I'd suggest rewarding those who he brought up to the Premiership, hence why so many are on £500.

You would know saying as you seem a little over obsesses by meDo people have humour switches they forget to flip on when they wake up sometimes, or is it more a general lowering of IQs which comes from reading too many posts by gibberish and The Cup?
-
Norge you have these three baboons in your pocket palI can't see them picking up over 40% bonus for winning 8 games
-
ZzzzzzzzzzzDid wonder at the time who was that big fella shouting the odds in the S& G. Regardless I just can't see Michael putting in draught Leffe Blond.
-
Name 8 of our players that you feel could walk into Archie's office and say "Archie I want a rise from 25k a year or I'm away to Motherwell,Hamilton or St.Johnstone"Surely not, according to gibberish it's peanuts we pay our players, not Mayo and chips. If the rest of the monkeys ( not my words) find out then there will be riot.
-
?Must be cos they only average 25k according to you :-)
-
Maybe that's why our players never want to leave because they earn so much, makes you wonder why so called high earners never want to come to us mind you:)Accies under 23 team earn £400 per week which is fact, but nugget head thinks our 1st team are on £500. So we pay our 1st team stars £100 per week more than Accies reserves. Pmsl
-
Does seem correct, because you said soI'm surprised that we can afford the lad Frans. I've heard we're paying him £823.78 pw. We were evidently lucky to get him at that. Promising to always have a wee tub of mayonnaise handy with his chips appears to have been the clincher. It's that sort of attention to detail that I so admire about Archie.
-
Jaggymad and norgethistle would most likely disagree, average player is on 75k according to them plumsThe highest earner last season was earning 40 k apparently.
-
I haven't seen anything from yourself, that proves me wrongIt not really an interest about wages, but about how much sh*t a certain poster claims and when asked for any proof! he can't show it.
