  1. As a now retired ball boy the subject of having the younger ball boys/girls in front of the noisy/sweary fans has been raised. Myself and another one of the more older boys used to sit in front of the North Stand for 3 seasons as they were worried about the language the younger ones would hear. Unfortunately it is a very hard subject to tackle. As for what can be done about it , the answer is very little. You will hear the same words at every corner of the ground so it is very unfair to point out some supporters in particular.

  2. Yeah, get Forbes off,the most skilful player on show by a mile. What is wrong with u people?

Completely agree, he is genius with the ball. Thought he bossed it today with the ball at his feet , down side is he is very slow but he more than makes up for it when his cracking football ability and brain.

  3. I think we need to take a step back and look at today from an overall point of view. Firstly before kickoff i think you would agree we would be happy with a draw. Obviously the manner their goal came in was very disappointing. It could have been alot worse , Morton drew so we are still only 2 behind with 2 in hand. Genuinely feel sorry for Welsh , didn't think he had the best of games but dont think you can blame the outcome of the game of his red card. You have to remember Buzz made a couple of cracking saves. In my eyes Jackie got his subs wrong , thought the last 20 minutes had Shuggy's name written all over it. We certainly miss something from how we started the season , only thing that comes to mind is SOD. Anyway definitely 2 points dropped against a good livi side away from home. Onwards and upwards.

  4. Don't even bother having a go at the fans who choose not to turn up. That's up to them.

Our biggest problem is holding on to the supporters we still have. I thought that even in defeat, the fans were a real credit to the club yesterday - sang right to the end and applauded the team off the park. Why? Because there was no lack of effort there - sometimes things just don't go your way on the park. As long as the players give 100% commitment - the fans will hopefully always appreciate that, win lose or draw.

i presume you feel very strongly about this subject hence posting 3 times .... :thumbsup2: But i completely agree. Mon ra jags

  5. Horrible game to play , Craig tried but nothing came off for him- He is a threat but i though Doolan would have been a better option v their CD's but on the other hand why change a winning team. Tackle on Bannigan was poor- Overall ref had a nightmare. Lots of positives to take, a point at the Bairnabeau is a good result.

Overall , another clean sheet. Back 4 looked sharp and solid, Looked good going forward and out classes Falkirk.

As Maxy said on twitter "If you can't win don't get beat"

    Onwards and Upwards

  6. Last week after putting 2 by Kenny Arthur, Chris Erskine was subbed in the second half along side Steven Lawless. I though Erskine had an amazing game and I have absolutely no doubt that had he stayed on he'd have got at least a hat-trick. Lawless also had a great game and probably would have had another goal if he wasn't subbed too.

My point is, as they were walking off the field, Lawless got his name chanted but Erskine didnae... I reckon there is no reason for this other than we don't really have an Erskine song. I think we should.

Here's my shitey efforts so far...

To that "SPL, you're havin' a laugh" song we sang at East End Park earlier this season,

"You've just been skinned....by Chris Erskine

You've just been skinned....by Chris Erskine....."

Sung just after he's ripped someone a new one.

Or... to the tune of D.I.S.C.O

    "Chris Erskinhio...

    Chris Erskinhio"

    Any more suggestion?

*Disclaimer. I know these are shite... I've been drinking.

    Already singing Chris Erskinhhhhho

  7. it would, of course, be an arse if the game was off, but this:

The PA system, however, was not the only loss to the Club at the weekend. Our Club Mascot, Cappie The Cat, was also stolen. The cold-hearted thieves dumped Cappie’s head in a local garden however his body has yet to be recovered.

    ...is hilarious!

ahaha , we hope the young members aren't too distressed. *In tears*

  8. Saturday is going to be a tight game , Cowden are a reasonable side. It will be the kind of game that an early goal will kill , if its 0-0 at half time then 'squeaky bum time ' will start , Team in first post is my favourite , Sinclair hasn't had much football this season but personally i think the use of wing back in the game with be crucial.
