  1. Unbelievable, tried to get into the Strathy after the game, only be told by the bouncer "No, we're too busy", despite the fact we'd all been in prior to the game and spoke to the staff about coming back in. Despite the fact we could blatantly see it wasn't full, bad man disagreed and while the discussion ensued, he welcomed other Jags fans in..........

Not a very good second impression.

  2. I saw chic charnley almost get hit by the ball not that long ago because he was too busy looking at his phone instead of watching the game. He noticed just in the nick of time. Can't remember where, it was maybe away to airdrie.

    It was away to Livvi.

As a very young teenager away at Ayr Utd, we were standing at the corner when the ball got hoofed out. I caught it on my chest, down on to my knee, played a wee bit of keepie uppie then passed it to Alex O'Hara. I got a bit of a cheer, but more importantly, a nod and a wink from Alex :frantic: Thirty odd years later, never been been close..........

  3. Quite a bit of talk in the pubs after the match last week of how supporters buses seem to be fully booked at this early stage. I'm told the City Centre, Jordanhill and one or two others are already full to capacity. There's even the situation, apparently, where a well-known fan (TH if anybody on here knows him?) has put on a bus from the Woodside, and then another one as all places on the first one got snapped up right away, and now the second one's fully booked up too!

This is what I'm hearing and of course stand to be corrected, but since there's quite a few of us who will be wanting to get on a supporters bus on the big day, we're slightly concerned that we'll end up having to get the train or public bus which will be shite due to Sunday timetables and will have a worrying impact on our drinking options.

One of our mob is even considering putting on a bus himself, probably from the Strathy or thereabouts, to ensure smooth travel and drinking arrangements. Anybody else in the same position?

Might not be from The Strathy after Tuesday nights debacle!!!!!!!!
