The QP official site is reporting that Thistle will be playing Queen's at Lesser Hampden in a friendly.
The QP social club in Lesser Hampden will also be open for those interested in a drink or 5.
-
The reason Queen's Park is poor is its amateur code.
If it abolished the amateur code, QP has a larger chance.
If the PTFC went bust, then we should move to QP and change it to professional Glasgow City FC.
Oh dear. You must try harder to wind people up.
And the japanese site is selling our old away kit. Current one is much nicer than that one.

Be interesting to hear Queens fans comparisons between Little (this season) & Paton (his last season at Hampden).
Both are stocky, right sided fullbacks/wingbacks with decent stamina and good attitude. Ricky is 21 year old and Paton was 20 year old in 07/08. So I would imagine it would be a like for like comparison.
No contest I'm afraid, Paton is much, much better.
Paton also played his last season in the second division, when Ricky played int he second division for us he wasn't paricularly good, and only really kicked people(5 bookings in 12 games IIRC),
I'm not sure Little is good enough for the first division, he struggled in the second, but was a lot better last season.
Paton has a much better final ball and generally is a better footballer.

I will repeat my comment from another thread. I was a bit disappointed that Eaglesham was released. Hopefully, he and Little will improve at Hampden. I would not mind having them back in our squad.
It was some debut from Graeme, considering he wasn't even meant to start the game originally!(our main striker got injured in the warm up).
Ricky Little is beginning to mature a bit, and took the captaincy well today.

Am I missing something here. Is it unreasonable to be interested in what the leader of my club is paid. Let's come at it from a different angle. Will the Thistle accounts tell me, are they made public and where can I see them. As a season ticket holder I would like some idea of where my cash goes.
Company accounts are public documents and can be viewed by using the companies house webcheck service. You have to pay £1 to get them though(to stop people taking the piss i think)
I would doubt that McCall's salary would be seperately listed in the accounts. It will be bundled in with the rest of the salaries.

So you think we might get him on loan?
I think he's signed with the intention for united to actually use him.
Dixon is injured regularly and Houston has admitted it's not ieal having to play dillon(a right footer) at left back.
Douglas would not have signed there just to be loaned out straight away.

Barry Douglas has had loads of offers. Dundee Utd and Watford are the current frontrunners. He will decide in the next few days.
I beleive he also had offers from Aberdeen, Motherwell, St Mirren, Thistle and a few other sides.

There is also a chance the game might not be in St Andrews. Our official site has the game against Thistle as 'to be arranged'.
If Thistle aren't going for a training camp in St Andrews, then I can see why they wouldn't want to go up there.
Edited to add: after going to our friendly last year at St Andrews, it's just a park really and there won't be any issues with people watching.

not bad
It does seem a crazy venue right enough though.
Queen's are up there for 4 days then for a training camp. The only thing I can think of is that Thistle are going up for a couple of days as well or that we were really desperate for an opposition when we're there.
Friendly Match On Saturday

No idea, but Queen's will be able to get 3 guys i'm sure.
If not Gardner Speirs and Ian McCall can ref a half each.
If Gardner goes in the middle our management could improve dramatically.
